Wrexham might not be a threat to the top teams but if League 1 and 2 clubs try to match them by splashing their own cash to buy and pay players, then the risk to those clubs is very real and we could see more clubs go out of business in the future.
Had you posted this in a Notts County forum, or Chesterfield, Woking, Barnet, etc, the chat may be very different. Fans of those teams may well be cursing the investment into Wrexham? And, as Wrexham climb, and if they outspend and outperform teams in League 2 and League 1, that negativity amongst other fans may spread regarding Wrexham.

I don't think the biggest supporting teams will be too worried. I know nothing about the investment into Wrexham and the structure of it, but I'm assuming the investment will never rival the investment and money generated by clubs like Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, etc?

Rich owners at some clubs is just part of football now. There are all sorts of questions, including moral ones, that have to be asked, and some owners probably considered less fit than others to own a football club. Are the owners at Wrexham more controversial than owners at other clubs? Or, it is simply a problem that they have put more money, and publicity, into the club relative to teams in their own league. Would it have been less of an issue if they invested into a League 2, League 1 or Championship club instead, thus having less of an impact on the team?

I suspect that the National League is like every league and the table is largely in order of spending, buying and wages. Notts County will be big spenders, as will Chesterfield, Woking etc. Wrexham may currently be the biggest spenders but I doubt Gateshead, Maidstone, Altrincham etc care whether it is Wrexham or Notts County paying their players more. Same outcome.

It was,but he went from hands behind his back, to handling the ball 🤷‍♂️
I don’t like seeing players hide there hands behind there backs like he did, it certainly restricts movement. We often hear about the players arms being outside the silhouette or unnatural position as a reason to give penalties. I think both were inside the silhouette and in a natural position as it’s skimmed his elbow.

Winds me up when I see players do it,surely that’s the most unnatural way to run.

What’s he wound up about, it was a yellow car offence and Laporte was yellow carded.

It wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity, it wasn’t violent or dangerous.

A culmination of poor decision's, time wasting and persistent cynical fouling i would guess.

I thought the ref had a poor game and he set his stall out early booking Cancelo for a 1st offence that was just a foul.

Agree that the ref got a lot wrong. He got some stuff right too.

But Tuchel’s reaction to the Laporte takedown that resulted in the red card was just weird. Not sure what else he could have been shouting about in relation to that.

I expect him to get stuff right, its his job. It's a high pressure game and TT's emotions are running high. His side are trying to counter attack and that happens. He is angry, I can understand his reaction.

As is your right. But as a human, are you always right. Even at work?
Not sure where your going with this, you've already agreed he got a lot wrong tonight. if i made as many mistakes in my job as referees do on a weekly basis i would be out of a job.

I am always right. Even at work ;)

Tactical fouls are part of the game. You may not like it, Tuchel might not have liked it last night. But, if shoe was on other foot, I'm sure Bayern, or teams he has managed, have done a similar thing.

We know why Tuchel acted like he did, doesn't make it acceptable. Hence the red card. It was silly as well, especially as Bayern were already out by then. They had benefited from a ridiculous penalty, that had deflected onto the City player's arm from his foot. They were unable to score early chances. And they lost 3-0 ,in first leg. The referee really wasn't the reason they lost the tie.

The stats show that Bayern committed 12 fouls and City 11, they also show Bayern with 5 yellows and City with Four. One of those yellows was for Gundoghan reacting to a challenge. Not forgetting Bayern had a red ( rightly) overturned. It hardly points to persistent cynical fouling.
Overall the better team over two legs went through.

Nobody has suggested this.

GreiginFife asked why was TT "so wound up" and thought his reaction was "weird".

I gave him a reason in my opinion as to why he reacted. Understanding his reaction and suggesting his reaction is acceptable is different.
