I'm hiding behind the sofa🫣

I'm settled on the sofa despite coming in from tennis to see 3 down. Said to myself last night that if we don't win from this position then we're not good enough. Or they're too good. Still hoping we prove ourselves good enough to win from a winning position!

I still think England have played the better cricket overall in this series.

The difference is Australia have been better in the key passages of play.

I'm going to a family bbq this afternoon. It's for the best, no cricket. This is too stressful 😫.

Good to see England, largely, playing test cricket today. Time and place........

England doing their absolute utmost to gift yet another Test to Australia. What is Stokes doing wafting his bat at that?

Oh dear… with a day and a half left why are players chasing the ball. If it isn’t a golden scoring chance leave it alone.

Well done Bairstow - once again letting the team down - been a shocking decision to bring him back in

Three tests in and whatever happens here this will go down as a test where both teams made strange and repeatedly incorrect decisions with tactics. It’s one of those where there’ll be a winner because there has to be.

From an England perspective it is enormously frustrating.

Should have won the first Test. Should not have lost the second and could well have won it. And really should be winning this one with relatively little trouble given the position of the match at stumps yesterday.

But instead of being at least 1-0 up in the series we’re staring down the barrel at 0-3. And not because Australia are that much better than England, but because some of our decision making has been utterly hair brained.

Please, will someone tell Woakes to stop wafting away like this is a T20. We have a day and a half to score 68 runs.
