Well, that course was like a kettle full of water.
Fill it with golfers, switch it on, wait three days and then everything goes mad right at the end!
I'm knackered.

I wouldn't really be a fan of the scenario where a tied result retains the trophy for last winner. I'm not sure how it should be decided, maybe play off or something. But I think there should be an outright winner. Same for Ryder Cup.

The Americans on unsocial media are moaning like cheap hookers as Europe didn't win!

They’ll probably bomb somewhere so they feel better

Ha ha. Them's the rules folks! I keep asking myself do I care? Do I feel any different than if we'd got that final half point? Answer is a resounding NO. Sure if it went the other way I'd get some consolation by the fact we didn't lose overall but wouldn't cry foul if it did.

It would be hard to decide it by another means. Do the last two play extra holes? Captains pick who plays extras? They're already pretty bloody exhausted so it would be a bit much. Maybe the decider could be a holes up/down scenario but that would feel a bit unsatisfactory as the calculators come out.

It will continue to be a rarity I think so leave well alone.

Brilliant from the lasses. Thought it was gone for a while but some gutsy performances by hedwall and ciganda. Those couple of irons from the Spaniard were out of this world.

As for retaining it, it is what it is. And unlike the ashes, the full schedule was played so nobody can have any complaints really.

No one is “scoffing”

standard septics - can’t handle a team not winning

Was a great retaining from Europe

Even more so when they were 4 nil down after that first morning

Refreshingly not so much on this thread but plenty do decry (aka scoff) at women's golf. If I could be bothered I'd find plenty on this forum to prove @SwingsitlikeHogan 's point.
