Hey James, I'm sorry fella, I shouldn't have said what I said about you talking nonsense, clearly the information I'd seen after a fairly extensive Google search didn't concur with what was said on the TV broadcast this morning while I was out golfing - or wherever you sourced the info from.
Also, can I also extend an apology to anybody else who dislikes me for having a different opinion and questioning the common narrative. I really am, truly, truly sorry.
We love you Mel

No really we do……..

Honestly

We’ll mostly…..

Ok sometimes……..

Was there any Liv on today? ……
Askin for a friend 👍😬

Just horrible. Tried telling myself to watch, just golf, doesn't matter if we lose, but I couldn't, so just kept refreshing BBC Sport website every 5 mins instead. Maybe that was worse!
I was a bit like that also…I’d watch a bit then go do something, then come back and watch a bit more. Then go away again. That said I managed to watch the last hour or so. I’m just hopeless when it comes to watching team sport especially when I desperately want a team to win…same as watching Scotland play football or rugby. I get incredibly tense - and tbh I just don’t need it. It’s so irritating. Put myself through agonies. Next Saturday evening I’m going to be in a total quandary…I guess I’ll start watching then hide behind the sofa…

Anyway…well done indeed Donald‘s Driven Dozen 👍

Surely watching Scotland you expect defeat? 🤔😜

Managed to wake up at 10, watch the entire thing 😨 it was wonderful

Bob Mac eagled the 16th and we never saw it. Not even afterwards 🤬

Yeah one second the onscreen scoreboard shows he'd played through 14 tied and suddenly changes to 2up through 16

There seemed quite a few shots they couldn't/wouldn't show

That aside it was a great performance over the 3 days and if they can up the broadcast for tv fans to the same level we get at a major/big tour event it would be even better

I’m finding the whole Cantlay golf hat thing a bit of a car-crash. Three (at least) ‘reasons’ cited in media

Money protest
Hat didn’t fit
And just this morning, Patrick's getting married today and didn’t want the golfers tan line in his photos

The latter does sound the most plausible given how pronounced we’ve seen that on players but after seeing how much impact it had to the 3 days with fans, players and others, was it inevitable something/anything would be found to trigger the 'banter'/taunting/mocking and does the event need that... It really doesn’t

Is a bright red forehead much better than a tan line forehead?

Anyway, who the heck, player, books a wedding the day after a comp like that 😱

One thing I found very irritating with yesterday's Sky coverage. The top left corner showed the player's name, his team, the hole no, whether he was up or down, the stroke he was about to make and his opponent's name. All very good - but - as it was matchplay, why didn't it tell us the no of strokes his opponent had played? With them skipping to a different pair whilst the opponent prepared himself, I found it quite confusing at times.
I didn't see the 4ball or 4somes so have no idea how they showed the scoring.

I thought Europe had blown it at one point, I was convinced it would be Fleetwood or bust…

I think they should give Donald another go, should all Captains get both a home and away match? Rose can be a VC in 2yrs and then take the job on in Ireland.
This is how I would do it. A new captain for each home tie, they continue into the subsequently game in the USA and the next home captain comes from the pool of previous vice captains.

I thought the coverage was poor throughout, Ewan Murray has said they lost power at the end, hence the aerial shots, but to not show either Lowry or Speith’s chips on 17, anything of Bob Mac on 16 etc. was really poor. The interviews with Donald/Fleetwood were far too long, record them and play them once the golf has finished - I think we only saw Lowry’s putt on 18?

Only 3 or 4 of the US squad is going apparently. But they are a really tight band of brothers who would die for each other. Just not to invite to your wedding.
Although it is difficult to believe much coming out of the media these days. I'm only positive there is a wedding as Cantlay said so himself
