I still think the talk of course set-up is being overblown somewhat. The players mostly all play the same events and courses throughout the year, so I would think whatever set-up favours one team would favour both teams for the most part. Just weak excuses and sour grapes to blame course set-up.Think this was on the No Laying Up podcast that JT is being quoted which I listened to. He started with the pretty lame excuses of Europe made more putts etc as to why they got thumped, before being slightly led (imo) by the interviewer into course setup. It showed me that USA are still years behind the European approach to the competition and still just rely on individual skill rather than the strength of the collective
