Yesterday evening I half missed the sofa, misjudging the landing zone. It has a wooden armrest, though somewhat round I’d also say it is relatively sharp. It was damn painful at the time, the corner hit right on my right hip bone, but it’s giving me hell this morning.

No sign of a bruise but a deep painful, toothache-type, ache. I’m not a pill person but Paracetamol & ibuprofen gel applied. Bad enough to consider going back to bed.

Ouch! Hope the pain subsides quickly.

Pretty much every dessert sauce is made with sugar, plus sugar is added to brandy during distillation to give a caramel colour and reduce bitterness of the drink so you were onto a loser wanting something without sugar in from the get go on that one

Ask about repair timescales, ie if a light cluster fails, do you have to wait for 5 weeks for a part.

Are the tyres readily available?

Where will you take it for servicing?

Presume that things like price, electric range, insurance group are similar

My daughter has a 6 month old MG ( non electric) had a problem with the stop/ start system, needed a sensor replaced under warranty, had to order a part, which is taking 4 working days to arrive. So they are down to 1 car until Jan 2 , pain in the butt, but not the end of the world,
But if the wait was 5 weeks or 2 months, then that’s a different kettle of fish

What's the thinking behind these two options? Why these, why not others?

I'm sensing a new thread may be required where the forum decides your new car, not you or your wife
