My watch lives permanently in cinema mode so all msg, calls and notifications are silenced. Screen is set to off and only comes alight when wrist is tilted to view the time etc. when then use it for exercise or those other activities I mentioned the i take it out of cinema mode just for the app that’s being used to track. Works perfectly for me in that way , plus my phones always permanently on silent mode as just lighting up with notifications rather than any annoying beeps or vibrations.
Many would say what’s the point but it works for me![]()
My last smartwatch died about 2 months ago, thankfully not on my wrist when the back ‘popped.’ No big thing, I guess it was the battery that gave out.
It’s primary use(s) for me revolved around health. Heart rate, BP and step count. And as my phone lives in my bowls bag a lot of the time, it was good for alerting to calls & messages.
It will be replaced in the next few weeks - I’m currently looking at what extra facilities have been added, one being how accurate blood glucose readings are as I’m well into pre-diabetes now.
