I've never been in that thread, no interest in electric cars. Now I'm intrigued how a thread like that has managed to get locked. What a place.

Unfortunately there some forum members who also have no interest in electric cars but seems to enjoy trawling the internet looking for bad stories about EVs and post them on here. Then they get upset when they come up against debunkification and some name calling ensues.
Sad really as the thread is called would you buy an EV, not why wouldn't you

You could make a thread asking what colour is grass and it would get locked for arguing on here.

Driving in the dark or dusk, modern car lights are too bright and blind. It doesn’t help being low down but even so the lights are so bright I get dazzled and cannot see in front of me.
I never had this issue in my SUVs

Tie in that to the fact that nearly all the indicators are sat next to these really bright lights and you can't tell if a car is turning or not when you are waiting at a junction.

Green as standard
Yellow if dry
White if frosty
Brown if muddy

Plus a lot of SUV and similar have lights art eye level for drivers of normal cars. Driving at night is hard work these days.

Why are you not interested in EVs… I find it irritating that people are not interested in EVs but will drive an electric golf cart.. shocking

I've got very little interest in EVs as at present they aren't suitable for me to get one. The range plummets if you tow, and we have a trailer for Mrs Colch's work and a caravan for holidays with the kids, and they're too expensive. No point in me being interested in them when there's no chance of me getting one in the next few years.

Two very good reasons not to buy one.
Not forgetting they can be a nightmare to charge with a caravan hanging out the back of it
