Just been out to some car dealers to have a nose around, only one dealer had the car I wanted available to look at
On Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree - no idea what to ask for various stuff we want to get rid of. As I want to get rid of it pronto, I’m thinking I might look to see what similar items are going for and just ask for about half.

If it goes on Facebook, be prepared to deal with the time wasters and village idiots. I gave our conservatory away earlier this year through Gumtree, and so I know what to expect on that front on also the timewasters. As far as how much I put stuff up for I know that I’ll just get irritated if I ask for sensible offers as I know I’ll get plenty of chancers, so as good an idea as it is I don’t think I’ll go that route. I don’t need self-created irritations. And expect lots of messages asking "Is this still available" and after you respond with "yes it is" you won't hear from them again.
Just like real life then is it?If it goes on Facebook, be prepared to deal with the time wasters and village idiots. Stuff will sell but the great unwashed stalk Facebook.

Companies, this time I'm looking at you Currys/PC World, that advertise a product but have it as not available for collection from store/delivery only, and then want to charge £30 for delivery. It's a TV. I just want to come to the store, buy it for the advertised price and put it in the boot of my car. I don't want to pay extra for you to deliver it.
When your car is booked in for a service, the garage says they'll collect but they put the date down as 28th March....
Still, it's the first time they've let me down in 30 years and I'll get a discount on the service when they get round to it....could be worse..
