Electrical appliances with knobs that turn all the round for as long as you like with no clear indicator to the actual setting you are on.

I realised this morning that my last wash load of mainly cotton shirts and cotton/acrylic jumpers was done at 75 degrees and not 30 degrees.

Yet to try one on but I am dreading it.

They have got markings now!!

On Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree - no idea what to ask for various stuff we want to get rid of. As I want to get rid of it pronto, I’m thinking I might look to see what similar items are going for and just ask for about half.

We used EBay as a guide. Then pitch it lower if you want rid quickly.

If it goes on Facebook, be prepared to deal with the time wasters and village idiots. Stuff will sell but the great unwashed stalk Facebook.

And expect lots of messages asking "Is this still available" and after you respond with "yes it is" you won't hear from them again.
I gave our conservatory away earlier this year through Gumtree, and so I know what to expect on that front on also the timewasters. As far as how much I put stuff up for I know that I’ll just get irritated if I ask for sensible offers as I know I’ll get plenty of chancers, so as good an idea as it is I don’t think I’ll go that route. I don’t need self-created irritations.

2 suppliers extending lead times on their products that we sell regularly. One has gone from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. The other has gone from 4 weeks to 8 weeks . Get your acts together.

Nearly as annoying as seeing someone else who has missed a belt loop and spending the rest of the day wondering if you should tell them

Or someone not wearing a belt with trousers that have belt loops ......................................... women excepted.

When your car is booked in for a service, the garage says they'll collect but they put the date down as 28th March....
Still, it's the first time they've let me down in 30 years and I'll get a discount on the service when they get round to it....could be worse..

When some real ale drinkers loudly discuss to all who will listen about the flavour profile of a particular glass of waz they’re drinking.
worked in several pubs and done plenty of real ale festivals and it all tastes of urine with the odd bitter or citrus tone.

Companies, this time I'm looking at you Currys/PC World, that advertise a product but have it as not available for collection from store/delivery only, and then want to charge £30 for delivery. It's a TV. I just want to come to the store, buy it for the advertised price and put it in the boot of my car. I don't want to pay extra for you to deliver it.

So agree with this. Currys do not have stock any more. I have been in to buy something and they have asked that I order online to collect from the store the next day. I advised them that I could buy it from Amazon cheaper and have it on my doorstep the next day
