LIV Golf

Is Adrian Meronk going to Liv ?

Reported that a European player has signed for The Cleeks and Meronk has just withdrawn from The Farmers.

Could be coincidence..

It’s been on the cards for a while and wouldn’t be a surprise.

Yeah you could see why he would leave - decent player that’s not going to pull up trees on the PGAT , he had exemptions to majors this year so a year or so getting some extra money - bit like Thomas Pieters last year

Im guessing he must be a last resort - shame as he took up a card that someone else could have takenn

Looking forward to him growing the game!

Why can’t the players that go there tell the truth? It’s like they are embarrassed by their decision.

He pulled out of The Farmers because of illness.

Guess they just don’t want to admit in public that they went for the money - think the only one that has is DJ

With no LIV golf on at the moment, and empty spaces in teams what else is there to do other than speculate on who might be going to LIV?

Who do we think is likely to join Rahm’s team? Not long until the first event now, so must be announced soon?

Is Canizares still playing, or Manuel Pinero?

The weekly guess at who’s going to LIV?
The LiV bots will all be claiming to be the one who knew who it was, despite the fact they have named just about every professional and anyone with an index of +4 and better as the next big signing.

Maybe Meronk is ill,

But he'll be on The Cleeks according to Flushing It, who's mates with Richard Bland, who plays for The Cleeks.

We won't have to wait long to find out.

He may well do, but after the number of false claims to date, I won’t believe it until it happens.

Dunno, how is that any different to much of the print coverage of football? The daily soap-opera & tittle-tattle about who said what, who’s going where, who is getting bought/sold etc. That has sustained the interest of football fans for years, and given football columnists plenty to write about…

Given this thread is overwhelmingly by far the most commented on in the last two years, it’s true for LIV too

It is up there with the “I’ve just seen Messi at Doncaster airport” stuff on twitter

Indeed - the people that profess to have no interest in LIV continue to perpetuate it's relevance by continually re-stating their position of disinterest., just as vehemently as those that are fans. It's a key component in driving interest in the league. We'd call it banter in football, but I'm not sure golf is quite ready for banter just yet. 😂

I guess the issue is when it’s prob the most “interesting” part of LIV - the rumours and nonsense , once that stops then the there isn’t much talk about the golf

Of course it's about growing the game. We surely seen al the hard work put in over the last year or so by the like of Poulter and Westwood to really get out there and spread the golf gospel.
