Standard of the PGA tour has really fallen - amateurs winning the tournaments now.
Yet LIV seem to be targetting amateurs as new signings....

Dunlap’s win is great to see, but as far as pro golf tournaments go, the Amex is a bit Mickey Mouse - and clearly the PGAT doesn’t have the quality it once had.
That’s the facts of where we are right now in pro golf.
Are you purposely on the wind up?
They have lost a handful of top talent but the PGAT is still more stacked with talent than any tour. Some of the big names were playing on the DPWT this week, others taking a rest.
When you have pretty much a tournament per week, some events are going to have less top players than others. Its not like the kid won "The Players"
You do know the first 3 days are a pro am right?Dunlap’s win is great to see, but as far as pro golf tournaments go, the Amex is a bit Mickey Mouse - and clearly the PGAT doesn’t have the quality it once had.

If the Amex is a bit Mickey Mouse. What does that make LiV events?
For someone like Rahm the GDP of a small country can buy him cause he has very little to loose (other than his soul). For Hatton or Fleetwood, who don't have long exemptions, going to LIV means missing to majors. It's what price you put on that.Fleetwood has turned LIV down flat again https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/68042437
Well when we have amateurs and rank outsiders winning on LIV, as has happened on the PGAT so far this year, I might be able to answer the question.

The Amex had a pretty decent field given how awful the event is.Dunlap’s win is great to see, but as far as pro golf tournaments go, the Amex is a bit Mickey Mouse - and clearly the PGAT doesn’t have the quality it once had.

You'd have a hard time arguing that Eugenio Chacarra and Danny Lee were not rank outsiders.Well when we have amateurs and rank outsiders winning on LIV, as has happened on the PGAT so far this year, I might be able to answer the question.
apparantly they want the dude who wears a skirt on their team to grow the gameHas Dunlap been linked to Rahm's team yet?

Sorry not Rory........look for my name. You will all be glad to hear that we (the global investment industry - including your pension funds) leant the $700bn PIF another $5bn yesterday across 3 bond tranches - maybe that is earmarkeb to buy Rory!!
