SA has several European Tour events each year.Steve Elkington thinks Liv Adelaide will make Liv change their strategy and look for more golf starved nations where their product can flourish.
South Africa seems an obvious one with them having marquee SA players, South America seems another candidate with team Torque.
Anaban Lahiri is a star in India, huge nation there to try and truly grow the game.
Seems a no brainer , still need to have some events in the USA of course but have less..
SA has several European Tour events each year.
Than Australia ?They need to develop significant interest in countries with larger economies than Australia and South Africa if the 12 franchises are going to generate interest from those multi national conglomerates who are supposed to be potential investors.
I don't read everything, it gets boring !We know, we were all discussing the fact that one of them wasn't even being broadcast to the UK not so long ago ;-)
Back to the golf...
Tulsa this weekend!
Gooch going for an unprecedented 3-peat in his home state is going to be superb to watch, he's been playing some ridiculous golf recently.
Keeping a keen eye on Bryson too, feel like he needs to start living up to his talent.
Looks like LIV are running out of money, should have invested in a few more flagpoles to stop players attempting this sort of nonsense…
Phil taking full advantage of being a lefty here, saw Uhlein doing the same thing yesterday but it looked like he had to thread it through the flagpoles…
Feels like a key event as the 1st USA stop after the success of Adelaide, reports that ticket sales are good and crowds are expected.
Tall order for Gooch to win 3 in a row but in his home state he and the Range Goats are going to have the lions share of the support you would think.
Bryson hasnt been the same since his wrist surgery, also lost a lot of his bulk so lots to re- access in his game.
Like Brooks and Phil, form is temporary and class is permanent so once his body is right and he solves the puzzle im sure he will be back but it wont be this weekend.
Team wise the Majesticks have to do better, currently bottom of the team standings.
According to Wikipedia he has got in via:Info via Phil Mickleson
Can anybody give an explanation other than the USGA is colluding with the PGAT.
PGA uses OWGR rankings to qualify
#128 Hossler just got in as a reserve
#103 Tringale
#111 Munoz
#110 Kokrak
All ranked higher than Hossler but seem to have been ignored.
I dont know the answer but seems wrong ?

Whan is doing Monaghan as many favours as he can, so that Jay will return them by pushing for rollback - which of course is his baby.
