RE North Berwick
This seems like seriously good fortune or spectacularly impressive life-planning !
As a boy we spent many many bank-holiday weekends there - in a sprite major. One of my favourite places in Scotland
do you need reminding its a maximum of fourteen clubs .
im about 16 miles from my home course ,there are many much nearer but all seem to have drainage problems where as Willingdon dosent being based on chalk and not clay.takes around 20 to 25 mins from door to club.
It can take 25 minutes in the rush hour (if I don't go via train straight from work) but there is a "back way" so it isn't too bad, but how long do other forum members consider to be acceptable to take in rush hour conditions to get to the club in the summer evenings? I think much more than the time it takes at the moment and I'd be overly stressed and rushed when I get there and the golf would suffer accordingly
