How much do you spend on practice?

But when you add it all up it's a lot steeper than you realise. £16.50 a week is £858 a year on practicing -

There is a long term solution: buy a simulator.

A guy I know at my club spent £20k building a sim room at home, but he told me if you buy a second hand GC quad you can do it for less than £10k. In the long run it works out cheaper than the range, gives you unlimited practice without having to leave the house, and you can use it to play games with family and friends in winter.

Yeah, I suppose I could stick one on the driveway and we'll just park down the road.

This is my issue as well... ceilings aren't high enough! Would love to put a simple setup in the garage but just not enough room

Don't even have a garage. My wife wants to move in the next couple of years so I'll have to make sure I only agree to it if there's room for a golf studio in the new house. 😁

I sometimes hit foam balls at the garden shed. They actually feel pretty good off the face.

Way back in the first lockdown I bought a net and foam balls to hit in the garden. Only did it twice and lasted about 10 minutes each time. Just felt boring and pointless when you couldn't see the result of the shots. I still have the balls somewhere, but they probably won't get used until the day my little girl decides she wants to try and hit one!

Plenty of things can be worked on without seeing the flight. I struggle with transition, so it's nice to be able to work on it in the garden.

These are the best indoor / practice balls I've ever used.

They actually feel firm on the strike but won't break anything.

I've tried all the usual other offerings like foam, air flow etc.

You could hit them off the wall of your house.
