Seems a bit worrying that people have to lie to their partners
I nearly always remember her birthday though.

Silly Tyrion. Me and the wife have separate bank accounts. Some wonderful attempts at subterfuge but do people not look at their bank accounts?
Just saves me getting it in the neck and her using it against me later. Mind games.I just find it odd that anyone wants/needs to be secretive about what they spend their money on. It's almost as if they think they're doing something they shouldn't be.
Ps. Mrs B always knows if I'm I buying a new club.

Survived the washing machine?Finding a ball marker that I thought I had lost in the pocket of a pair of trousers that haven’t been worn since March.
Survived the washing machine. And somehow managed to remain in the pocket. It’s an old American quarter that I have had for years.Survived the washing machine?
Or clothes worn but not washed since March?
Big ask time wise but sounds like people want you to do it so you must be doing something right at the clubBeen asked by the club to become the club secretary for the next two years at the AGM. Said I would have a think about it as need to see if I can dedicate enough time to it.
Big club, little club? Full-time, part-time? Either way, it's not an everyday offer and I imagine it will take some serious thought as I also imagine it is the sort of role that will consume your life.Been asked by the club to become the club secretary for the next two years at the AGM. That would be good from both sides. Well done to her too.Not a huge club. 600 members. It would be a part time thing. My other half is going to be ladies captain next year so has the benefit of helping her out with a familiar face on the committee.
