How long should it take for Handicaps to change from a 4BBB Comp where scores meet the criteria (42 points & above)?

Also, if a 4BBB Comp takes place on a saturday and the results published that night, if the handicap adjustments have not been published, should those who believe they will be cut, self cut themselves for a singles comp on the sunday?

There is no requirement to 'self-cut'. You play off the index you have on the day.

As for the publishing of results, it is likely the club have a 4BBB still set to non-qualifying, and so it will not be published to a player's handicap record. The club may be able to re-open, change to qualifying, and then re-publish...but whether they would or not is a different matter.

Thanks for the “self-cut” info.👍🏻

Then the results would have hit handicap records if it has been set up correctly.

Maybe it didn’t quite cross the criteria. It’s 42 points and one player coming in on more than 9 holes

So if all correct you would expect overnight as per other qualifiers?
