And those that have no interest in it or have never tried it are the first to write it off.
To be honest I've never played with an aimpointer that holes more putts than anyone else so I'm not convinced it works. Unless of course AP has improved their putting from totally crap to average 🤔

I used aimpoint when it was first developed and it never really had a noticeable affect on my putting stats. I thought it was useless in all honesty.

I decided to spend time practicing my short game getting me closer to the hole. I invested in some short game lessons with a highly rated coach. I also had a handful of putting lessons which improved my putting dramatically though it led to a costly new custom fitted putter. I was using a 2ball putter at the time, ended up with a Scotty Newport 2.5.

Personally i believe aimpoint is just another money making exercise. Golfers are renowned for falling for marketing hype

How is it money making. You don't have to do the course and enough online resources to give you all the tools needed to start using it even on the practice green. I would recommend the course but that is only because I had a chance to learn from the top European instructor

Aimpoint does work, the logic behind it is sound, after all, it is largely based on the effects of gravity, which is a known and constant force, acting on an object rolling across a slope.

However, it will not fix a fundamentally flawed, inconsistent putting stroke, that does not start the ball off on the correct line, on the correct pace.

Of course not but you are not reading my whole post. There are enough FREE resources available for people to get the basic understanding and take it to the practice green. From there it needs work like any skill but can be learned and used for free

By any chance do you know of any online links to ppl who are legally entitled to offer a tutorial on AP express?

Plenty info on what it does, not so much on how to do it

Golf is the best sport for marketing ideas and bringing in multiple “techniques” both mentally and physically

Just look at the latest short game methods with Dan Grieve - making him a fortune

A golfer will look to try anything to find a way to improve - some will work , some will be a load of nonsense and at the end of the day a placebo

Aimpoint is one of those techniques that some will try in the hope that it will improve them , it’s clearly nowhere near full proof and not many seem to use it but that might be down to have to practise too much for it to be ingrained and we know most want an immediate fix

When playing your home course imo after playing it enough times you should be pretty confident reading the greens using your eye

You asked me how is it money making.

I never doubted there is free resources widely available. Having attended and paid for the course i feel i am educated well enough on the subject. I wont change my opinion.

Are you seriously saying Dan Grieve short game is just a money making exercise? Working with the best players in the world and also teaching it to others. Proven method

Aimpoint is transferable so can be used on any course. Just a few moments on the putting green to adapt arm break to the speed of the greens and it is ready to use. Or are you so good you can read ALL greens

Your not wrong about gimmicks. You only have to convince a few people something works and word spreads and then suddenly you make a bit of cash. So much available cash in golf and people will do anything to get them improving

Like my small club I bought, I saw Bryson using it. Size of the sweet spot. One video and I had one. Prob won't make bugger all difference

There is no bigger fool to part with his moolah than a golfer when it comes to new gear

Gear , new techniques , the level of “gadgets” out there that can be bought is amusing - as well as “mind books” and “golf thinking” etc

One length irons, I mean I have 3 one length hybrids (@Orikoru will testify how well they fly) anyways they are massively a gimmick otherwise everyone would be using them. Work for me but I must have the perfect swing fault for them

That is the what, not the how. It an advert not a free tutorial and even says 500 bucks a lesson or 50 for the 'proper vid'

So what about the sand wedge. A real game changer that was controversial at the the time. Would you not have one in the bag as it was new gear and a new technique. Sensationalising again for effect imo. How has teaching of the swing changed? New techniques again
