How is that relevant to anything
There have been a lot of statements and pictures etc posted all about the incident , I guess it’s prob best to wait until the full facts come out to decide if it’s something that’s been blown out of proportion by the police or Scottie was not acting smartly
But back to the golf
Some stunning shots from Morikawa
It’s a shame we can’t see more as they are watching Woods warm up on the range
Legal experts or anti-authority conspiracy theorists? What impresses me is the number of legal experts on this forum.
It's great to see you back Phil, truly.
The relevance is that when people have the kind of popularity that Tiger is afforded, their bad judgements tend to get overlooked to protect their reputation, and I expect the same here with Scottie.
That's all.
There's certainly a great deal of excuse making in defense of "nice guy" Scheffler (on commentary and on here) based on zero fact. The relevance is that when people have the kind of popularity that Tiger is afforded, their bad judgements tend to get overlooked to protect their reputation, and I expect the same here with Scottie.

Indeed. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, should never question anybody in authority. There's certainly a great deal of excuse making in defense of "nice guy" Scheffler (on commentary and on here) based on zero fact.
You're talking to the ultimate rule's zealot, what are you expecting?Indeed. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, should never question anybody in authority.
They have authority for a reason, they never make mistakes
The character of the person is completely irrelevant, because regardless, they have sinned
I might go to Tesco and steal a Mars Bar on my way to an Open I'm playing in tomorrowSo far this weekend we have a player who is divorcing his wife, and another who has been arrested by the cops, both of whom appear to have been energised by their experiences.
I need to find something of a similar magnitude to inspire me between now and 8.04am tomorrow. And I’m just not sure watching Coronation Street with the wife is up there when it comes to life changing experiences.
So another hack round the course beckons.

To be honest, simply playing golf often achieves that goalTry and find something get yourself into the dog house and end up sleeping in the spare room
You weren't really questioning those in authority though. You were accusing them of being corrupt.Indeed. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, should never question anybody in authority.

On the practise putting green this morning I told my mate that if he really wanted to get to single figures he had to divorce his wife (of 40+ years), it went straight over his head.So far this weekend we have a player who is divorcing his wife, and another who has been arrested by the cops, both of whom appear to have been energised by their experiences.

I assume you mean "rules"?You're talking to the ultimate rule's zealot, what are you expecting?
Incorrect. You weren't really questioning those in authority though. You were accusing them of being corrupt.
On the practise putting green this morning I told my mate that if he really wanted to get to single figures he had to divorce his wife (of 40+ years), it went straight over his head.
I then decided to explain why I thought he should divorce his wife, which judging by his response also went clean over his head, as he explained to me the barriers to divorcing his wife. At which point I gave up.
After today's round however, my wife is living life on a knife edge.
