How is that relevant to anything

There have been a lot of statements and pictures etc posted all about the incident , I guess it’s prob best to wait until the full facts come out to decide if it’s something that’s been blown out of proportion by the police or Scottie was not acting smartly

But back to the golf

Some stunning shots from Morikawa

It’s a shame we can’t see more as they are watching Woods warm up on the range

It's great to see you back Phil, truly.

The relevance is that when people have the kind of popularity that Tiger is afforded, their bad judgements tend to get overlooked to protect their reputation, and I expect the same here with Scottie.

That's all.

I’m still confused how a temporary structure that got blown down in bad weather has anything to do with someone reputation or bad judgements 🤷‍♂️

Morikawa with another birdie , 4 on the bounce

Also good to see Kim doing well

Shaping up to be a very good weekend

Hopefully some of the top players in the afternoon can follow this

This seems to show that it’s all being blown up out of proportion

There's certainly a great deal of excuse making in defense of "nice guy" Scheffler (on commentary and on here) based on zero fact.

I think the questions that should be getting asked are was there any negligence leading up to the death of a PGA worker, and if so, who takes responsibility for it.
The focus on Scottie in all this is missing the point - as I said earlier, a tragic loss of life has occurred at a pinnacle golf event, and we shouldn’t lose sight of that

Indeed. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, should never question anybody in authority.

They have authority for a reason, they never make mistakes

The character of the person is completely irrelevant, because regardless, they have sinned

So far this weekend we have a player who is divorcing his wife, and another who has been arrested by the cops, both of whom appear to have been energised by their experiences.

I need to find something of a similar magnitude to inspire me between now and 8.04am tomorrow. And I’m just not sure watching Coronation Street with the wife is up there when it comes to life changing experiences.

So another hack round the course beckons.

I might go to Tesco and steal a Mars Bar on my way to an Open I'm playing in tomorrow

You weren't really questioning those in authority though. You were accusing them of being corrupt.

Scheffler has played well today considering he was in an orange jumpsuit earlier. He’s holed a couple of monster putts that helps.

I think there may be something to DJ being injured, his ball speed was only 173mph on that first tee shot.

On the practise putting green this morning I told my mate that if he really wanted to get to single figures he had to divorce his wife (of 40+ years), it went straight over his head.

I then decided to explain why I thought he should divorce his wife, which judging by his response also went clean over his head, as he explained to me the barriers to divorcing his wife. At which point I gave up.

After today's round however, my wife is living life on a knife edge.

Incorrect.

I was simply discussing it, and giving my own hypothesis.

Relax. I'm not judge, jury and executioner. I realise I'm not armed with 100% of the facts, I apologise you assumed I thought I did think that????
