Incorrect.

I was simply discussing it, and giving my own hypothesis.

Relax. I'm not judge, jury and executioner. I realise I'm not armed with 100% of the facts, I apologise you assumed I thought I did think that????
Yep, these are definitely the words of someone who hasn't decided that the police are corrupt:
"...maybe he fancied making a name for himself. A story to tell the grandkids. The day I arrested the best golfer in the world. Might even get an interview with Jimmy Kimmel or Conan O'Brien, make a few bob."
"...was it... just another incident that tarnishes the reputation of US police? I guess we'll find out more over time, but I'm betting the second scenario is more likely."
"I do suspect the police might have just dreamed up a bunch of charges..."

You very much struggle to understand light hearted comments (the first one), fairly well publicised accounts (the second one) or myself simply hypothesised (the 3rd one, pay special attention to the word "suspect")

Honestly, sometimes I wonder how you cope in the real world, when people have conversations and dare question authority, rules, standards or just think out loud as to what causes led to a particular outcome.

Honestly, just take a night off and watch the golf

It's just like watching another bog standard pga tour event. How is this classed as a major when the players isn't?
How is the Players not like a PGA Tour event?

Despite the best efforts, the OWGR still has this Championship with a higher field strength rating than the Players.

Tiger +8. Surely it's time?

Think it’s time for a choice for him

He can just turn up to the three majors he has exemptions to and making a cut is seen as a positive and enjoy himself and be like a lot of the past winners

Or he can look to play events inbetween to get himself form going into the majors

If his leg doesn’t allow him to do the second then he will have no choice but to do the first

The open has the history, the us open has stupidly hard courses, the masters is Augusta. Nothing makes this one stand out, even bringing it forward. Just my opinion of course
I guess this one has Club Pro's playing, which sometimes makes it feel a bit like the FA Cup of Majors?

Either way, it has been a Major for a while now, and the best players are all there. So, for me, it'll probably feel like a Major on Sunday night when one are more golfers are coming down the stretch to try and win

When he’s a senior he should play their tour, with a buggy, and then just play the Masters, the only one he has a chance of winning again.

Langer has done it in Augusta for years. Often competitive for 2 to 3 rounds but not the ‘endurance’ to do 4 days at that level anymore.
Of course he had senior competitions to keep him sharp.
