Finally got around to watching the YouTube Invitational, great viewing.
Kwon got some serious pelters![]()
I’ve not finished it yetKwon's pelters will be long forgotten after what went on in the final!
He overslept ..................... that doesn't even begin to compare with being called out for cheating.

I've not watched it, was it a genuine call out or a set up to bring a bit of drama to the final?

Be interesting to see how they develop the concept of this, there are some very good golfers from other sports who could get involved with this. The likes of Steph Curry and Josh Allen, not sure if that loses an edge that this has though because the money on offer wouldn’t make a difference to those guys.
Just finished watching the whole thing.Well Paige improves a lie on the rough and Finch spots it (doubt he’d sign up for any fixed content) then a good good lad is definitely using slope and gets caught on camera switching it on and off
This is it, I might be a bit gullible but I do believe she didn’t realise. Her reaction seemed way too genuine, and her actions way too blatant. If you knew the rules you’d do it sneakily.Just finished watching the whole thing.
She thought it was OK to do that. Wow.
But.
I've seen several cat 1 players do the same - I even had to call my winter league partner of many years up for doing it - he thought it was perfectly OK.
And he admitted that most of the guys playing in the morning groups did the same.
I realised then that the afternoon group I was in played from different rules.
I wonder how many big competition winners were influenced by that...
So I can kind of believe her - but to get to a good +h/c without knowing the rules isn't a good look.
But then again - it might all be made up stuff - I wasn't convinced by the way it was all contrived.

By Beef, are you referring to Andrew Johnston?I hope for two things;
1. The next one is called The Cody Cup in honour of Beef,
and,
2. The New Zealand boys get an invite.
By Beef, are you referring to Andrew Johnston?
No, someone else who was using the same nickname and has passed away. I've been so confused all week with people online saying "RIP Beef" and I panicked for a moment.By Beef, are you referring to Andrew Johnston?
I completely agree and although I’ve said I believe her, I’m torn on it. However, what you said about her improving someone else’s lie is interesting. It’s highly unlikely Mo also wouldn’t have know the rule, and so you would think he would’ve said ‘what are you doing?’ and at least moved the grass back. And it wasn't even her lie she was improving - yes team member, but not hers.
She is the most followed female golf influencer and a decent player, but I think and absolutely no chance whatsoever in my opinion she didn't knopw what she was doing. If she 'didn't realise it was against the rules' then why not flatten the grass even more? Many cameras were there, but wasn't full on them fully, so I say absolutely deliberate and understanding.
Her playing partner is also part of a 'slope on' controversy.
With a million dollars between three at stake, it is strange what people can get up to, even though already very wealthy.
RIP Cody![]()
