YouTubers.

I saw Bentley on the recent Golf Life video. Couple of funny moments but an hour of him was far too much. Can't imagine actually spending four hours on the course with him. And O'Hara is the same but without the funny moments.
I only watched the video because they were playing at Westerham, it was funny when they came across a bride and groom having wedding photos, but I had to watch the volume turned down! :ROFLMAO:

I used to listen to talksport every day, but stopped when I got fed up of their early version of clickbait…some idiot presenter giving a pathetic opinion on something, wenger being the worst manager ever, or something similar, phone us on 0898 and pay £1 a minute if you disagree. And the idiots would phone in. You could almost hear Murdoch counting his money.

So I’ll be giving that a very wide birth!

Think that’s the point of talksport mind

Disagree ? Please call our premium rate number to let him know 😂
Can’t argue with their business model it’s making the millions 🤣

I genuinely won’t listen to it if Cindy, O’Hara or Gabby are on and don’t get me started on Rory Jennings 😒

The only person I can vaguely listen to is Simon Jordan at least he tells them if they’re being dicks 🤣

there's something extraordinarily grating about Jordan's delivery. I think it's the way he tries to use long words but almost always either mispronounces them or uses them in the wrong context. Or maybe he's just a bit of a kn0b?

Apparently the first 3 videos of the internet invitational have been viewed a total of 10 million times! In comparison, the highest viewing figure for a US based pro tournament was the US open at 5 million. Mad.

Personally think the professional tours and players need to take note of this. They’re trying to be more modern with the TGL but that just doesn’t cut it, according to Google it averages half a million views. It just doesn’t cut it.

Interesting times.

Masters?

Wasn’t in there, assume it was just pga events they looked at? Not sure. Regardless, the point stays the same.

Edit - that was a bit flippant of me. What I should’ve said was that even if the masters did get higher viewing figures, which it probably did, it doesn’t take away from the fact that 10million for YouTubers is pretty amazing.

Yes, but that's also over the space of a week.

I've now watched the first four videos and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of them.
You get so much more than just the golf.

Comparing number of views of a series of YouTube views against a maximum number of simultaneous viewers tuning in to a single live broadcast is comparing two completely different things though.

Was the II streamed live, and if so then what was its maximum live audience at the time? That would be a like-for-like comparison.

Not streamed live, realised at a pre-decided time to maximise viewing potential.

That being said, I’ve watched them and they were a good watch
