YouTubers.

Watched the Rick and Guy podcast last night with Rachel Drummond. One you'll find yourself smiling along to with her positivity, despite some tough personal circumstances for her in the last few years.
The story of getting wasted with Tyrell and Rahm is one she'll be ble to tell the grandkids.. 😂
I didn't know who she was but I listened to that and it was great. She is quite the storyteller.

Watched the last H.I.T review video yesterday about balls. Guy Charnock did the whole video with no Rick Shiels
In sight.

Basic premise was is the ProV1 the right ball for him. He tried the Titleist TruFeel, Mizuno RB Tour and Bridgestone RX. Long story short he couldn’t fathom why the TruFeel was going longer than the ProV- despite spin numbers in screen literally showing the answer and he figured that was maybe the best ball for him despite the Mizuno having better overall results 🤣

Was an interesting watch though. Also swear I saw a comment from a guy named @Orikoru 🤔🤣

I might have commented asking why he didn't try the Wilson Triad. It's highly likely, my entire existence now is spitting words out into the internet somewhere or other.

Thought that was the comment I saw and it was valid as his testing criteria was poor in that the ball had to be better value than the ProV1 and the Bridgestones he was only saving £5! Where as the TruFeel and Mizuno was a £20 difference so the Triad would’ve been a great shout for price point and being a 3 piece ball.

Yeah it was a bit odd. I know there's a lot of a lot of balls out there so to only try three of them is a bit of a waste of time. Especially when he chose Mizuno totally at random. Would have made sense to get a Srixon option in there (AD333 probably the most popular mid-price ball going) as well as a Wilson. Not particularly in-depth. But perhaps the purpose was just to open some people's eyes that you don't need to be paying £50 for ProV1s, which is fine.

The premise was good but his titleist snobbery showed a little when he kept talking up the TruFeel as “still being a titleist ball” and ignoring the the Mizuno had better overall performance for his swing.

Good idea though to highlight to people
You don’t need to spend £50 on a box of balls and try different things out. Would like to see him do it again with more mid range balls for better understanding and broader results.

Yeah, same as Rick really. He tested the Takomo driver, which I think showed the best driving numbers I've ever seen from him. Will it go in his bag? I doubt it.

It does baffle me how many 20+ handicappers I see using ProVs to be fair. A triumph of marketing.

She kind of replaced Troy Mullins on LIV but with more focus on player interaction and the range walks etc.

I thought Troy was very good, but Rachel adds a different dynamic.

Peter Finch playing new Trump course, Aberdeen is a good watch.
I enjoy his playing videos as he is a much better golfer than a lot of other YT pros and he gives good advice and reviews of the course and his footage is well put together. But I wasn’t overly fussed by the actual course itself and the water features just look completely out of place in a links set up.

I haven’t watched a Peter finch vlog for a while now. I just don’t enjoy the solo golf, talking to the cameraman type ones he’s been doing lately. Much prefer when he’s playing with or against someone else. I know he’s got some ‘beat the pro’ ones coming up, they should be good.

This is well worth a watch, Jason Day is just a thoroughly likeable chap, and good at golf!

He can be a bit corny, but as you said, quality of footage is excellent and he plays well.

As for the course, I tend to agree. I’d say many could score well.

Just watched Dan Grieve play a round with Rachel Drummond. I had no idea who she was until someone here mentioned a podcast with her and Rick Shiels so I listened to that and now watching her! Don’t tell the Mrs but I think I’m love 😍

She has such a fun easy going attitude for someone who’s been through so much and when she talks she just makes you smile she’s very infectious and my god can she play golf!!

Tooms, Taco, Sam, Kwon and Harry are the best ............................ by a distance.
I saw one the other evening where Kwon filmed Taco playing against Lydia Ko.
It was superb and very funny. She is absolutely made for YouTube, great fun and a great sense of humour.

Just a reminder about the best lads on YouTube at the minute

Hoping Voke gives up the pro scene to join the crew full time as well

Good shout - I also enjoyed her podcast episodes with Rick, so I'll go back and watch that vid as well at some point. (y)
