YouTubers.

Started watching a few of the Fore brothers videos after seeing their skits on Instagram. Watchable, in the background as I'm working. Seems they're getting access to better courses and have got themselves a club deal too.

Pretty sure they've been all using Callaway gear for two years now already. But they've just been given an upgrade on their Paradym stuff for the last few videos - on Ronan's breaking 90 vid he had the new Elyte driver and the 'square to square' LAB knock-off from Odyssey.

What do you mean the ‘square to square’ LAB Odyssey knock off, don’t understand this?

Ah OK. Did you see the one where they were arguing about a ruling? Just reminded me of every game I have with my brother. There's always something.

Haha, yes. Really that was just Dec having a tantrum because he cocked up the hole. I think deep down he probably knew he was wrong and was trying to blag it.

The new putters Odyssey have brought out to rival the LABs.

Interesting. That a big established putting firm such as Odyssey are bringing out a LAB knock-off, might suggest there is something ‘in’ the tech / design that LAB have done, and this adds some credence to LAB’s tech

I doubt Odyssey have brought to the market additions to their range that are knock-offs of every latest so-called innovative putting tech from all the niche / hipster putting brands out there

I don't think it's exactly the same, as the Odyssey ones are heel hang, and they will argue they've done that in the past with their 'toe-up' range. But with the timing of them, the way they look, the fact they're centre-shafted and with a preset forward-press - it's obviously 'their answer' to the LABs if you like.

I actually really like the look of the square to square Jailbird, I'd be tempted to try one if I didn't love my current putter so much. The only thing that putts me off them and the LABs is that I don't normally like centre-shafted.

Was just watching a video posted by Jimmy Bullard, where he plays match play with Sean Davis.

If anyone ever wants evidence that WHS is broken (or easy to manipulate), watch this video. Sean Davis plays off 4. I've seen better 20 handicappers.

There was another recent video where Roger Johnson (former centre back) claimed to play off 7, but watching him he looked more like a bogey golfer. It's unclear whether the issue is WHS, or maybe these ex-footballers aren't actually members anywhere and their handicap is just made up. Him and Liam Ridgewell lost the match to Tubes & Ange and were calling them bandits, when the fact is their handicaps are just a bit closer to being accurate.

The fact they phoned a few pros and they weren't 100% clear either shows how tough some rules are.
I don't know who they asked though, because I knew straight away Dec was blagging it and the others had it right. I mean he took a drop and hit the ball, then tried to claim that was a provisional and shouldn't count. 😂
