YouTubers.

They are smashing blokes (in my opinion) but not the sharpest tools in the shed. It was clear afterwards that Tubes was so stoked for his brother that he couldn't focus on his own golf anyway - he does get a bit over-excited. The rest of the match after that point was awful. 😄

I don't mind their channel. I find the rhyming slang can get a bit OTT. Having it on in the background while working is what I find works for me to watch it.

Ange isn't a bad golfer. Not sure both their handicaps are as low as they suggest in their videos.

Exactly what I was doing today.

All I could think about was imagine coming up behind them and Tubes coming back to play his shot.

Tubes has got a lot better over the years - his swing looks pretty rigid, but when he's on form he strikes it pretty consistently. Especially his driving, that's been really good lately. I actually think 13 is pretty accurate for him, maybe 14. Ange is supposedly off 12 which again I don't think is far enough. He could be lower if he put his mind to it, his short game is usually good. He's long off the tee, a bit wayward sometimes though.

This is interesting - after about 10 mins, when the physiologist (?) introduces the 3 shot view - perfect, good enough, poor.

I'm going to retain that thought this weekend.

From the first frame I thought "that looks like Formby "
Formby ladies is a superb course. I recommend it to anyone. Leave the driver at home but don't be kidded by it's lack of length. Accuracy is key, get in that gorse and heather and it's goodnight Vienna.

Is it not just for ladies? Since it's called Formby Ladies?

No. It is a separate course inside the confines of Formby golf club originally set up so women, who weren't particularly welcomed in golf clubs back in the day could play golf. It has its own clubhouse and only women can be members but accepts male visitors. Keeps the coffers full. It's a cracking course.
