Quick and easy poll, where do you tee up between the block, do you always tee up on the left, right or centre? Does it depend on the shape of the fairway in front or your shot shape or a combination of both.

Normally anywhere, presumably somewhere near the middle but I've never really thought about it. I will occasionally move to one side or the other depending on the hole though.

Depends where the fairway is - the hole shape , where the pin is on the green

If there is no trouble then I tee up at the right hand side, however vary it when needed particularly on par threes, so I get a clear shot at the flag.

Depends where my FC is standing

Is there a universally accepted convention teeing position :D

How wide are your tee blocks..?
Does a change of position of the tee (maybe 3-4 yards one way or another) really make a difference to a ball that's hopefully going to go in excess of 200 yards..?

Depends, if my PPs get to the tee first and it's me to go, I stand opposite and forward of them, if the tee boxes don't allow this then I ask them to move until we can assume the correct positions.

:swing:

Both sides, Not good enough to notice any real difference for a ball that's going to go over 140 yards.
