To Tee or not to Tee?

"What is it with kids, think they can hit it further than they can?"

kid proceeds to nearly hole it

What is it with adults, assuming that they always know best?
Especially when the kid is the better golfer.

I’ve seen this so many times with the wife’s dad and brother. Her dad has never been anywhere near a single figure handicap, the brother was once a + handicap. Yet he still feels the need to pass on his wisdom.

I will always use a tee.

As an aside I am not surprised the TM landed and ran it is a different type of ball to the other two.

As others, always use a tee, but only ever a smidge off the ground.

Played a 112 yard hole today, with a very sandy tee box and literally went under it and lobbed it 60 yards  Chipped on to 40 foot  and holed the putt for a par.

Having watched the video, one thing I really do like re his last tee shot. He steps back and resets himself, rather than just hit the third shot again. It’s a good routine to get into..

I never use a tee with short irons,I can’t see the point in using a tee if you’re pushing it all the way down.
Use a green castle or a broken tee on 7i or above.
