Could be incompetent reffing is the only way City don’t win.
He didn’t blow the whistle.
Never went near him.
Just waived at him several times to get up.
Keeper might have thought he gave a free kick but I can’t see anywhere that he did.
Tbf it’s a Lpool fan discussing whether there’s a foul or not, same discussion he had after wednesday night.Another Saturday of Premier League football and the main talking points are poor refereeing performances, rather than actual football.
Best league in the world.

90 minutes and one insignificant moment bring discussed.
Referee’s have been slagged off and moaned about since Football began, no change there.I wasn’t just talking about in here. I just mean generally.
So the keeper decided it was a free kick when one wasn’t givenAdvantage was played. Areola puts the ball down , free kick given instead
All I see on twitter is Liverpool fans claiming areola was never injured until Taylor told him to be
The straw clutching is hilarious
It's a nothing incident that was called correctly as no advantage was evident so free kick.
So the keeper decided it was a free kick when one wasn’t given
Advantage was played. There for a foul. If no advantage comes play is stopped for a free kick
It's happened 1000s of times before.
And unfortunately that’s the way the game has gone as I have said for years. The tail is wagging the dog. Hardly any talk of another poor performance from the most entertaining team in the league, Utd. And another poor performance from Liverpool. Hardly any talk of those games. Yet the man who should be invisible ( the ref), is the main talking point.Another Saturday of Premier League football and the main talking points are poor refereeing performances, rather than actual football.
Best league in the world.
I heard he once went for a walk in the Forest. Shocking appointment if he did.
VAR couldn't get involved is Gapko did score. The referee did blow his whistle, but only momentarily before Gapko got to ball. The game was paused at that point, but only referee knows why he blew the whistle!?I don’t need VAR.
If that’s classed as a foul the game is finished.!
It was just very poor from Taylor.
He realised he had made a error and blew the whistle just as Gakpo was about to kick it, you could see Gakpos reaction.
If Gakpo had put the ball in the net it would then involve VAR that would have been interesting!
Judging by some performances this season he probably don’t know why he blew itVAR couldn't get involved is Gapko did score. The referee did blow his whistle, but only momentarily before Gapko got to ball. The game was paused at that point, but only referee knows why he blew the whistle!?

Full video of Gakpo/Areola incident, when Gakpo/Areola come together Taylor signals advantage play on, Gakpo and West Ham defender actually stay and check on Gakpo while he gets to feet, Taylor is signalling to the three to get on with it, how anyone can say he’s telling Areola to get up from that distance is outstanding.
Areola drops the ball and Gakpo runs towards it, Taylor blows his whistle which is before Gakpo reaches the ball, hence Gakpo stops, any actions after the whistle wouldn’t of counted anyway.
It seems obvious Areola isn’t ok when Taylor gets to him and I would say he calls the physio on for safety reasons.
As the advantage hasn’t been taken the Ref restarts the game again with a drop ball.
I don’t care who it was against or for to be honest, people are looking to crucify officials at every chance, yes that was confusing yesterday, but no mention of the decisions he got right or highlighting mistakes from the players. But don't forget it's a conspiracy and it's clearly against Liverpool.
