I thought Luton won it with the aerial threat they posed. Huge big lads capable of causing serious problems. If the Boro get through tonight I can see Luton scoring a couple of goals from corners/set pieces.
I was at Wembley for Boro’s play-off defeat against Norwich about 8 yrs back. Norwich won because they were just so much bigger, stronger and faster.

I'm seriously looking forward to City v Madrid tonight.

So most of his ban is when there's no premiership football? Or does it only run when the season is running?!
Clear message sent by the FA though. Also, the best possible timing for Brentford in that some of that suspension is during the off season and so it's the least number of games he can miss.

So his ban runs through the closed season? Seems wrong. When players get a ban for a number of matches that seems more appropriate.

Does it matter, in the sense what level of ban seems appropriate? Had the ban been for 6 months, but it didn't run through the close season, would that sound better?

Ban is for 8 months from now -ie up to middle of Jan 2024. I suspect (but am not necessarily convinced) they'll have taken the close season into account.

awful from the Fa for me.. how long ago was he found guilty? (looked it up he pleaded guilty in march) so he should have been instantly banned.. how many relegation teams has he scored against in that time? or teams that miss out on europe or something.. when really he shouldnt be playing
if someone he scored against since march goes down on the back of his goals being the difference is that fair?
I presume you would have been happy for West Ham to have taken Sheffield UTDs place in the championship all those years ago then?
