Almost as poorly run as the FAgood day for county cricket, Graves back at Yorkshire and Hampshire selling out to the IPL
keep shooting yourself in the foot cricket
Or maybe not.....At least we have loaded the team with spinners so might still be competitive
Or maybe not.....
Three 'proper' spinners in the side and they are being shown how to spin a ball by a part timer! I agree with trying to bring new players in but not so many at the same time in a high pressure environment with expectations so high.
Bazball innit. This will be over by close of play tomorrow. We picked the wrong, perhaps too inexperienced side and proved again our batsmen aren't capable of digging in for prolonged periods
Expect we all would be happy if they had taken 10 wickets @35 each now. Hindsight I knowmight be ok if they were experienced, successful spinners and even then India still a tough place to go. We pick 2 guys with 20 or fewer first class games where they take 2 wickets a game at over 35 a piece
Bazball innit.
Win big, lose big.........

India managed to play some attacking stuff, but then realised it was getting tougher with the lack of bounce and adapted. England need to realise that attacking every ball isn't the answer - especially in Indian conditions.Bazball innit.

Not the Bazball way though. I wonder how long the blind adoption of this way of playing can go on and why players can't grind a score out anymore. How many have any long term exposure the county cricket anymore where there is less time constraints and you can bat according to conditions and match circumstancesIndia managed to play some attacking stuff, but then realised it was getting tougher with the lack of bounce and adapted.
