2? Naw it is going to be nearer 7 according to the beeb and Metjoke Madandra so you'll need 2 lots of Ambre Solair!!

Got a new Odyssey White Hot XG Teron putter delivered today from GM Towers to review.......if I didn't know better I would think that this was a ploy to make sure the delivery coincided with the match and I would be tempted into using it and be putt off my stroke but if they had seen my stroke recently I think they would have kept the delivery until after the event as this will be the shot in the arm I needed,it's been rolling wonderfully on the carpet...anything inside 5 foot is a gimme!! :D

Thats nothing, I was giving J_F 25 footers a while back. Why, because he was sinking all of them anyway and I just gave up after a while.

Right then Gents, I'm just getting cleared up after an early start today. Next step, empty the car and get the golf clubs looked out. The weather looks reasonable so here's hoping.

Drive carefully gents and I'm looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow morning. Look out for the speed cameras coming up from Newcastle on the A1, saw a couple of cameras flashing last weekend.

Off home to finish packing. No time to clean the clubs, just enough time to feed the cat, and jump in the motor. Hope I have remembered everything.

Damn, no time left to write my victory speech.

That's all right Murph, you will have plenty of time to think up your speech on the back nine Saturday when the match is in the bag. :D Good luck to all competing, especially the English ;)

Got everything packed and cleaned as I have been on late shifts all week.

Had my first game since January last Sunday as I have been struggling with a wrist injury, damaged it at football 4 weeks ago and had a partial tearing of the ligaments(getting the excuse's in early) not that they will be needed.

Played 9 holes yesterday as I got a club to try out from GM dodgy timing me thinks also.

Really looking forward to meeting up again, see you all in the morning.

Glorious day in Edinburgh today.. so got out for a warm up round with my buddy and golfing nemesis, big Scott, around Craigielaw.

Great game and a confidence boosting 3 & 2 win in preparation. Was 3 down after 6 holes! 10 pars in a row sealed the deal, though. Think I may have shot my bolt!

See you all tomorrow troops. I'm off to shine the shoes and clubs.

I played with Scott at The Glen last year and he was the best 9 hcapper I've ever seen, rock-solid all the way round. Great result JF, I hope you can carry that form into the heat of battle tomorrow !
