Kia is very expensive second hand ATM aswell because of that Warrenty
With the last Peugeot
4th year warranty was £179 and 5th year £229 including MOT failure repair guarantee so add in another couple of years at say £ 250 and £300 that totals less than £1k . There was a lot more difference than 1k in the prices between the Peugeot and either of the 2 Rios I could find locally.

It was a loan car for a day. Not going to bother to learn a lot about it for the sake of one day. Additional two big problems I had with it was no way of knowing how to turn lane assist off (my first experience of lane assist and it scared me a lot) and it would not lock, luckily I was parking in a private area.

Oh lol I'd 100% be testing everything on that!! That's how you learn 😂

@bobmac

One for you

They have finally approved vechile to grid charging

Chademo only ATM but future will be CCS

The leaf you have would work fantastically for it

Could save you some real cash
Is that when the grid takes some of my cars charge and uses it to balance the grid during high demand periods and then replaces it when the demand drops?

One slight problem, I don't have a home charger, I just plug it into a household socket in the workshop with an Alexa plug that I can control from inside the house.
''Alexa, turn on the charger at midnight''.
''Alexa, turn off the charger at 6am''.

Doing a long journey with a mate next week and he has offered to take his Tesla. Interested to see how much planning we have to do.

Tesla nothing. The are the king of long drive

Put the destination on the sat nav and it will map the charges on their super chargers . Their network is outstanding

I know that. My point is how long we have to stop, how many times etc.
My diesel will do the entire round trip on less than a tankful.

Depends on the size of the battery I guess.

Have to admit If I did long trips on a weekly basis I would be buying a Tesla

I mean their supercharger network is what the charge network should be

Card linked to car .

Sat nav maps out charges on route, very fast charging speeds so only stop for a short time

Plug and play so when your there it's not an app it just knows this is your car and then bills the card

Seemless

Especially if it's a Model S between 2014-2017 which have free charging
