We do alternative Eurovision. As it is Switzerland this year, having baked cheese (haven’t got a fondue set) and then watching the Will Ferrell euro spoof film. Done this for the last few years, don’t have to watch the awful singing this way 🤪

Then she goes "see you next week to finish" erm what? Again? You said this last week lol

She then put what looked like (im sure it's not) PTFE tape inside the tooth to seal it until next week.

5 appointments so far for this tooth with the private dentist lol so much for more efficient

I'm so glad you brought up the "influencer" reference, as its modern usage irritates me immensely.

The following two people have influenced me,
Jacob Bronowski - How we, the human race, should continue to better ourselves with increasing knowledge and understanding.
Jack Nicklaus - How golfers should behave when playing golf. Take it seriously, respect the course, be courteous to others.

Imparting facts or giving opinions should not be called "influencing", but information giving.

Most of the internet "influencing" is merely pap entertainment.
 
Knowing I need a new washer in my toilet syphon because it was taking an age to fill and had become very noisy. I decided to turn off the isolator valve before going to bed to keep out the noise. Woke up to find a soaking wet floor* because the valve was leaking in the off position.

*Found by treading in the puddle in the middle of the night.

Had the exact same a few years ago. Toilet running into the bowl. Wife (hearing like a bat) said it was keeping her awake.
Turned the water off and flushed the toilet, next morning, stain on ceiling downstairs.
Why is plumbing such a pita?

This is the second time the washer has gone in just a few years. First time it took me ages to work out exactly what the fault was as the washer looked fine, managed to find the tiniest slit in the membrane. It took me longer to dry out the wet room this morning than to change the washer. Changing the isolator valve is another matter - down on my knees which I am trying to protect at the moment following an injury.
