So…. At 4:45 this morning (Christmas Day) the doorbell rang, waking all 5 house occupants.
Threw on specs and dressing gown and raced downstairs to A, find out which idiot was ringing the bell at this time. B) try to avoid waking up the street.
Nobody at the door……….
The cat was leaning on the plug in doorbell thingy, with an evil grin on its face.
Then at 6 am Elaine’s normal weekday 6 am alarm went off

The tourist tax in some parts of Spain, especially Barcelona. They make almost €100 million each year, Graded by the type of hotel and in our case 4* Superior which is €4.45 per person per night. What is worse is that they add tax on that! Rather than circa €4.90 let’s round it up to €5.
