Quite the opposite. Most of these cash only shops are money laundering fronts for organised crime, so if the Turkish restaurant takes £15000 a week legitimately they will chuck in another £15000 of illicit cash and bank £30000, happily paying income tax on this money thereby “cleaning” it up.

I was supposed to be spending today (wishing I had a transporter machine) sitting on a plane back to Washington St. Unfortunately, Leeds/Bradford saw a few snow flakes so cancelled flights. Nothing like getting up before 2am and getting ready for the taxi to get a text letting you know the "Gods" are messing with you.

I'd much rather eat porridge without a dusting of sugar than without salt. Porridge without salt is like bread without salt - no bueno.Not sure if unusual or not but I put salt on my porridge with milk
I make mine with cut oats and water though, none of these new fangled rolled oats and milk malarkey.
Though I do stir in a bit of cream to fatten me up.

Update.....Just waiting now for a manager to call me in the next 4 hours, I'm not holding my breath.
I also discovered that the collection people don't work at the weekend, so there was never anyone coming yesterday.
Did the manager phone me....what do you think.

I wouldn't deal with them again. Leave it to be taken, put it on marketplace to be taken for free. It isn't your responsibility, you have tried your best.
Alternatively, go onto their social media page and post about it there. That often gets things moving.

You might not like what he says, but it is a practice that goes on. It is a known practice that goes on in certain parts of Kent with barbers. You only have to look at the Number of barbers that have sprung up over the last few years to wonder why, and that is coming from a serving officer.

Yep, we have about 6 Barbers and goodness knows how many Turkish restaurants in our town. None of them very busy but all carry on trading.
