I want a workshop like yours, big enough that a bed can be "out of the way".
It's not that flashy.
9' by 13' with stable door into the garden.
I covered part of my driveway so part is carport, 9'x20' and the rest workshop, 9'x 33' in total I believe.
Keeps the car and tools out of the weather and ideal for charging the car.
I did it myself ...... after watching many many Youtube vids and to my surprise, it's still there
When bedgate is finished, I might post some pics.
:)

Wow, that's a £4 increase in a fairly short space of time. ;)
Yeah er couldn't find the orginal post, and by this time I'd paid it only to find you can't do it retrospectively on the app ( to get a discount) so....pooof and extra £4. THE LAST TIME I WILL GO TO MANCHESTER BY CAR AND PARK IN TOWN. This Saturday we are going in to watch Bad Manners. We are parking out of town and getting a tram in. This is 1. Cheaper, (lots) and also 2. Means we do not have to worry about concert end times as the trams run until 00.30am !

Nothing.
Sat in for 14 hours. No-one came, no-one phoned, nowt.
I don't want the bed, Argos don't seem to want it and the original order was canceled so she doesn't want it either. And now it's sat in my car port blocking my car in.
Does anyone know where I stand legally please?
Can I now sell the bed?
Thanks in advance for any legal advice.

Grumpy old curmudgeon.
Sell it!

I’m irritated to find the slang word for nonsense or rubbish “Bow Locks” is now banned on these boards! Used to be okay when Fragger ruled the roost but sadly banned under the new administration. ☹️

Sad....MikeH always said that if a word was printed in the magazine it would be ok to use it on here...
GM ran an advert for a "nether regions" cream that used the word 2 or 3 times.......
Hence it became a Forum word........ :(

They'll have their work cut out edited all of these out then: link

Personally see as a good old English word that doesn't qualify as swearing these days, but each to their own. We probably could do with a list of what's allowed and what isn't since everyone's standards are different (sometimes even differing views in the mod team I shouldn't wonder). Sometimes a replacement just doesn't capture anything like the same feeling.

I tend to use “Rolex” in its place. In context, it’s obvious which word I really mean.

The word in question probably bypasses any filter software because that was developed outside the UK, where the word probably isn’t used widely, if at all. It’s impossible to cater for every eventuality, just as it is to view and deal with every post.

For what it’s worth, it was me who edited it out. Not because of the word itself, which I don’t find in the least bit offensive, but more because of the context in which it was used. I could see feathers beginning to ruffle, with antagonism on more than one side of the argument.

So not edited for swearing per se, more because a word which some may find unacceptable was used in a context which perhaps made that use a little unnecessary.

Hope that’s cleared things up.

What a load of bollocks.

John Mortimer QC and Virgin Records vs. Nottingham Magistrates Court 1977.

Very clever.

But given I have said the word was edited out not because of the word, but the context in which it was used, just what point are you trying to make?

There are plenty of words which are perhaps more vulgar than they are swear words, and I for one am not about to start googling their previous use and, heaven forbid, their being the subject of legal proceedings nearly half a century ago, before I use my judgement to edit them out in order to try and keep the peace on a golf forum.

😉
