Random Irritations

The arterial London road that is the South Circular, now reduced to a 20mph limit. Wonderful:mad:

Just driving in London 🤬 (a necessary evil)… copped myself another speed awareness course for driving at 25mph along the Embankment. And I read tonight that the new Silvertown tunnel and Blackwall Tunnels are going to become toll roads.

Yep, they want the goods and services businesses and homes need, but do everything they can to drive them away.

Finding 6 golf balls on tonights dog walk around the local course, 2 of them had big cuts in and 2 were range balls - absolutely nowhere near the range.

A lot of dealers will trailer cars if it means they get the sale.

My mate just bought a Jag F-Type from Leicester, he asked the dealer what the options were and they agreed to get in on a low loader and up to him if he could wait a week. Which he was happy to do.
I bought my last car from a dealer 300 miles away. Got an indepth walkround video of the car, all seemed fine. They delivered it on a truck, was very easy and everything was as it should have been.

This will be a an option with a couple of cars, but I want to part ex mine which adds a complication.

I wouldn’t mind if the cars were close to each other, I could do a mini road trip, but the are at opposite corners of the country.

Not sure what the dealer offers but my mate’s F-Pace was trailered back at the same time for the PX. They both did video call walk arounds of the cars to confirm conduction, odometer etc.

Some dealers got quite creative and flexible through covid.

Surely McCaulkin’s brother in the film (and in real life) is actually Roman Roy, so he is the heir to the Waystar corporation and perhaps may become the Chairman , so no wonder the McAllisters have money.

McCaulkins aunt is married to John “Die Hard” McClane so nutjob theory is Peter MacCallister is an undercover cop taking money from the mob.

Chip Bank. Decent rates but some very unnecessary intrusive AI if you link a feeder account. Processes are lumpy if you refuse the OpenBanking link.

Cheeky gits. I guess you can circumvent it by opening a dummy current account as the linked account, but what a faff

I put BBC breakfast news on this morning, I was met with Paris Fury talking about the family reality show 🙄. I turned over to ITV, Coleen Rooney talking about the court case, again 🙄...... Dumbing down? It was so bad I put Kay Burley on, Sky news 😱.

If Kay Burley is the answer, then things are beyond saving and we might as well launch every nuclear bomb
