Random Irritations

When making microwave mash (or microwave anything really) and the instructions say to peel back the film lid halfway through so you can stir it. Can you peel you lid? Can you balls. The corner of it normally just breaks off in your hand, or it comes off in a thousand tiny shreds. Why can't a single manufacturer make a film lid that actually peels off easily and stays in one piece? It normally says to 're-cover it' as well before putting it back in - I would do but all the tiny jigsawed fragments of plastic are now in the bin.
Came across this, not a 'halfway through' one, but at least they were honest that scissors are needed !

Traffic between my house and the station for some reason, train is packed so no seat, and I've forgotten my headphones. And the warm weather is over, had to get my big coat out. What a terrible start to the day.

Why is it ok for ppl to get up at 9am and have an (alcoholic) drink at 1pm…but I get a funny look having a drink at 8;30am when I’ve been up since 4;30am !

When I worked for BAe we bought the defence systems arm of GEC Marconi Systems. BAe wanted a rebranding that equally reflected both businesses - and so after much money was spent, the rebranding consultants came up with BAE Systems…🙄🤣

And on the Nationwide rebranding…I think that the sun/house logo is rather effective.

I used to play golf after night shifts occasionally, starting about 6.15am. When I finished I generally had a full English and a pint. Used to get some very odd looks at just gone 9am.

The courier we use is supposed to be guaranteed pre 10am delivery, last week they turned up at 12, yesterday 11.30 and today I’m still twiddling my thumbs 🤬
I had a customer request a pre 10am delivery on Monday. I told him that we don't offer them, they are too unreliable. The driver ultimately does the route that they want and the supplier ends up getting grief for it when they don't hit the time limit. Basically, don't trust parcel carriers, sadly......

Put the kettle on, have a cuppa and a KitKat.

Not sure I can face another coffee 🤣
It’s annoying, the old courier used to be pre 9am every time, the new one even though we pay extra for pre 10am never deliver on time.

Those idiots doing ‘reaction videos’…actually all of them…but especially when they haven’t a clue and, for instance, spout about Phil Collins doing the vocals on the original of Firth of Fifth on Genesis Selling England…idiots…😡

If your company ships enough stuff, get the rep in and bend his ear. It's all down to the driver and the route they like to do. The sales guy needs to get onto it and sort it. (I get your drop may mess up the route but that isn't your problem. You pay for the service.......) (you know all this, I'm trying to be empathetic ;) )

I've just been told that a supplier is going to be 2 weeks late on a delivery of one of our most popular products. We will run out next week, delivery will be early November. It's clearly a rubbish day for business and a great one to be irritated

Getting a 3-line whip from mangement to have to travel 75 miles to attend a corporate happy-clappy session. I'd rather spend the day in the dentist's chair having root canal work done.

I've just had an email from DPD asking for customer feedback, we used to use them. I absolutely unloaded on them. Oh my word, that was great therapy.

I hope at some point you get a similar email from your courier company :ROFLMAO:.
