Random Irritations

My wife I both ordered new mobile phones on Sunday, the only difference is the colour, hers is out for delivery and mine is on back order! The irritation is two-fold, firstly that's not much wrong with her current phone, where as mine is FUBAR'd, and the fact I had no idea I'd ordered it in green until she asked me what colour I'd gone for.

I can never understand why people park like that.

I used to park well away (when possible) from any other car in a car park and would often come back to some one parked next to me. Due to a slight back injury I need my door fully open and it infuriates me when people park so close with plenty of spaces all around.

I once reversed in to car that had parked behind my transit (I could not see it in the pouring rain). We were the only two vehicles for several rows.

I would be even poorer if I lived in one of the world's worst economies.
Like I might not have access to clean water.
 
Carpet fitters returned today to redo the hall & stairs carpet they fitted in Jan (it was the incorrect colour). Wife goes out and says make sure I inspect the work. I told her she should probably stay because she'd notice something that I wouldn't, but she said no and out she went. Work done, it seemed fine, I signed the form and off they go. Wife comes home and notices a mistake that I didn't notice. Despite accurately predicting what would happen I'm sure this will still be my fault somehow.

Always your fault! I had similar, asked to hang a hanging basket bracket, asked what height etc, mrs told me to just whack it up next to the office bay window. Now apparently it's not far enough from the bay window, and higher then she wanted it 😤😤
 
People using "us", "we" and "you" in the Football thread and trying to work out who they are on about. usually means scrolling back through the thread to find a reference to the club they are referring to
 
Got a letter the other day...
Thames Water have to switch off the supply for 6 hours for major maintenance....starts at 10am today
9.55 I go to run the tap to fill jugs and Water filter etc and they've already turned it off.
Perfect...

Good point. Most I know but some have me puzzled. I can't be bothered to look back though so stay puzzled! Maybe we should make it compulsory to put your team in your signature if you want to post in the footie thread :-)
