Random Irritations

It’s a natural phenomena. Just because a particular celeb is an expert in their own field, they feel their opinion and how they express it is the be all.

Gary L is a prime example of how much of a fool they can make of themselves. His last faux par saw an antisemitic post of which he didn’t know the underlying connotations, or said he didn’t. He’s either a fool, or he did know which makes him far worse.

Give it a week and it’ll all just be chip papers.
Sadly, it's now common amongst many who do social media. You don't need to be a celeb to exhibit that behaivoir, just being on a forum seems to be enough for some.

I hear you, my forename & surname combined is only eight letters, but still so many variations.
Best was at a golf club presentation evening, received two 'trinkets', both wrong and differently wrong!

When it comes to golf and surnames 2 of us with the same surname joined the club at the same time. This was before the days of computers, John would be in Spain on holiday and come back to find he had been cut 2/3 shots. My first time of being a member and could not work why handicap was not going down.

How fragile we are.

Friend started with a pain in his shoulder on Friday morning. By Friday night it was the full length of his spine, and he was admitted to hospital. Numerous tests but nothing definitive yet. He was placed in an induced coma an hour ago and is on a ventilator.

The driver from yesterday has been charged with attempted murder and driving under the influence of drugs

Was following an ambulance through the barriers

Driver from West Derby

The whole thing is completely mad.

It looked like it started off with words exchanged between fans, then his car gets attacked by angry fans and he tries to reverse back into a few. That causes more fans to swarm his car and which point he sped off into the crowd in front of him.

If he was being attacked and panicked then his reaction is clearly excessive and no real excuse.

They aren’t realising too many details - just that he followed an ambulance through a barricade that was opened , seen some earlier vids where he is trying to barge past people who are reacting to him

He’s been ARRESTED on suspicion of those offences. Not been charged with anything as of a few minutes ago.

I've seen a lot of footage where Liverpool fans are punching, kicking and throwing bottles at his car before the main incident. His back window gets smashed too.
From there he goes completely mad and speeds forward running into the crowd.

It'll be interesting to see if he was following the ambulance for a genuine reason (like it was on it's way to treat a family member) or if he was just being an idiot.

If he was following it for a genuine reason, gets attacked by Liverpool fans and feared for his life and hit flight mode, it could well be one of the most interesting court cases for decades.

So fortunate no one has been killed 🙌

yeah seen that footage which is apparently just before it went horribly wrong

The police also mentioned being under the influence of drugs

Thankfully the ones in hospital are stable

It’s a miracle that the women and baby are ok

I am just glad it’s nothing more than an isolated incident

As are all the authorities, hence the remarkable speed in which they released his nationality and his race. Unprecedented really.

from the early footage it looked like he was actually trying to reverse & his car was being attacked, then all hell broke loose.

You can clearly see why they did that after all the fake news that was spread last time with the Southport stabbings

Already people on social media were saying the driver was a 30 year old brown skinned man

It’s a shame there are too many looking for something to light the torch paper

For years we've heard the Police say releasing information could damage a future trial, so it'll be interesting to know why their previous excuses don't apply here. Has the law changed? Or maybe they've realised they were wrong in the past and caused more problems by trying to cover things up?

I don’t think anything about someone’s ethnicity should be released

The problem is there are those in society that are more than ok to spread fake news in the hope that it creates the hatred they desire

It shouldn’t be required to release it but I can see why they did on this occasion

After I saw the footage I regretted watching it as I was convinced there would be 10-20 deaths. Definitely a miracle and just hope the two seriously injured pull through. I'm sure Liverpool FC will do something for those injured next season.

Forgot to add, he’s gone blind with it. They expect his sight will return but as they don’t know what’s caused it, how can they know either way…?

It’s a slippery path though isn’t it? Are we to expect the ethnicity to always be released if the suspect is white, and therefore not released if not white?

I know why it was released straight away, I just think it is going to cause issues at some future point.
