Indeed "company plan" in 1996 got rid of bank holiday rates.. and night rates. All a flat rate

Overtime also become time and a quarter

When anyone gives an opinion surely they think they are right?
True, but as a public figure where the public paid his wages he should have realised he should not have commented on emotive issues outside football.
I really liked him as a footballer, no negative opinion of him as a pundit. He should have stuck to that!

I thought the BBC rules were that it was only the political journalists that couldn't give their personal political opinion.
Employees of any business can’t make comments in public that could negatively affect the business.

Edit…
A football supporter in Scotland recently lost their job for their behaviour in public I believe.

The embarrassing Lineker farewell last night.

Des Lynham was in a different league and did ten times as much as Lineker yet went with class and dignity. Lineker and his sad sycophants Shearer and Richards had to make a song and dance about doing a very basic job fairly averagely for 25 years. Throw in the fact he was paid well over and odds and was pushed before he was sacked.

Is showing compassion for people negative to a business? I don't know about the football supporter in Scotland, what did he do?
