Random Irritations

Every club has them. Our roll up has at least two.

I wish our roll up would slow down rushing to the bar mind .. the people who carry are up the bar before I've even managed to get my trolly in the boot lol should have a 10 mins load the car rule before ordering 🤣 normally end up staying until the second order buy that round but don't have one myself then go

The same handful of characters who, after 18 holes, seem to find secret hiding places for around 15/20 mins before they appear in the bar.

We cured one individual of this by ordering a round and saying Mick is paying but he’s in the locker room. When he grumbled about it someone said it might happen again if he’s slow out of the locker room. It worked…

Sky Increase from 1/4/25. Only £5 and then some offers coming off which will mean a 33% increase in June. There is little option and after speaking with them 30 minutes there was no movement by them.

I really do despise them, sorry Sky
Cancel & wait for them to call you & offer you the same deal you’re currently on.
And to think some on here think it’s all great value 😬

Merc main dealer who service my car are trying to sell me a new(er) one

They come back with a trade in offer 5k less than the online cowboys have offered. I tell them this, and they up it by £1k. I laugh at them and it starts creeping up, in subsequent calls, to within a thousand.

They are calling back tomorrow. I'm not fully decided whether I'm going to buy, or just keep what I have, but WHY the blooming dance?

If they are trying to rob you like that, tell them to *** it where the 🌞 don’t shine.

Similar to me. Offered me £2k below WBAC which means about £4-5k below market. What really pissed me off was they offered me £12k less than an identical model they have for sale. I politely explained the difference between profit, profiteering and simply gouging. Cue many excuses and back peddling.

Told them not to contact me and I will be VTing the car in July.

£12k WOW 🤯
That really is trying to take you for a mug.

Great British Menu this week.

The chef who just missed out with a phenomenally high score last week must be watching this week in horror as the 2 chefs this week mess up dish after dish and one of them will get to the final.

Frankie Dettori has just applied for bankruptcy after 'failing to come to an agreement with HMRC'. You shouldn't negotiate with HMRC, you work out your tax, you pay it. He's earned millions, pay your way. Disgusting 😡😡
Also putting all the blame on his advisors and a failed tax avoidance scheme is particularly low rent
