I do believe you are quite new to posting on here, no idea how long you may of observed, but the Rules thread was historically an excellent thread were people posted facts and it was an excellent resource, unfortunately it has deteriorated into people trying to “catch” the rules guys out or come uo with strange scenarios that would never happen in reality.

I’m all for debate/discussion etc, but there’s a few posts in the rules section now that have grown arms and legs and the correct answer to the op is hard to find.

I’m lost mate? That link is from nearly 13 years ago, been some changes since then.

Unless you are giving me a clue to you being a returned(blackballed) member?😉

No it's the same subject and the same bloke saying the same thing , not being able to accept rules change.
Then a myriad of posts that get answered quick but go on and on.

It'd be good if after its been established; that the one 'correct' reply/ruling could be moved directly under the 1st post
then the answer is clear to casual viewers/historical viewing, and the rest of the back & forth chats can go on regardless
The problem there, imo, is that when does it become established, who decides? Quite often I read those threads and what seems to be a definitive answer then gets adapted or tweaked slightly and on it goes. I really like the suggestion, it's putting it into practice that might be tricky.

They're usually answered in the first couple of posts it seems anyway . The rest is just chat.

Can I be the first to give my heartily congratulations to Saudi Arabia for securing the 2034 World Cup.

When I think of the efforts England went to to try and secure it with all the schmoozing and fawning the likes of Becks and Prince William were forced to reduce themselves to, little realising we could have simply just bought like the Saudis - it was just staring us in the face and we didn’t realise, stupid really.

Anyway well done them.

We're lucky to have several fully qualified refs on the forum
I'd have thought they could indicate the definitive reply to a Mod

I have coffee machines all over the house including a big bean to cup machine in the kitchen. Since my ex left, I now have the office room back and that I wanted just a simple pod machine for in there as I know that is all I will use, anything more is too much. It is more of an impulse buy rather than an essential and so a £50-£60 purchase rather than a £100 plus purchase which would be fine if it was my main machine.
Ah. no problem.
I used to have Tassimo as they also read what the pod is and adjust water content and temperature accordingly.
When I had the opportunity to get the bean to cup machine, I gladly took it as the waste is so much less.

My issue with Tassimo and Dulce Gusto is that they use instant coffee not coffee grounds like Nespresso.

Bashing my funny bone so hard on a door frame earlier that I almost puked/fainted and had to sit down and take a minute. Sent a shockwave up and down my arm and my shoulder still hasn't calmed down.

Heck of a bruise developing.

NOT funny...
I did that once during one of my O Level exams...we were sat at small desks with an incline and my pen started rolling off the table and I instinctively went to catch the pen and smashed my funny bone right into the round frame of the chair.

Of course its an exam and I'm not supposed to say anything / make noise....so I'm sat there writhing around in agony in the middle of the exam and the invigilator is looking at me as though I'm some sort of nutter having a stroke.

However a standard driver box allows for maximum length. So needs to be cut down to achieve the 1200 mm max length if the driver is shorter.

DPD Local as well as Evri use a maximum length which is less than a standard driver box length.
Parcel Force max length is 150cm...I pretty much use them exclusively.

I remember when they had a big scandal around insurance on loans miss sold or something like that, my old man said he was sure he had a claim.
I half heartedly filled the form out, loads of details missing as he couldn't remember it...4 weeks later he had a cheque for 25k.
here you go... they know everythign.. then why dont the companies/regulator just ask them to give it directly..

Yes, except that I'm sure there have been some threads where there is not unanimous agreement between the likes of Colin, Steven Rules, salfordlad, rulefan, rulie, wjemather, etc. (Apologies to any other rules experts I've failed to mention). So there are clearly some scenarios where there is scope for discussion, even amongst the experts.
