Random Irritations

Remember the days when people didn't want to know what you had for dinner....breaking news, they still don't

For a brief period I elevated the FB food photo’s to another level. I’d post up a photo of a gravy/sauce stained plate saying what a great meal I’ve just had saying without what I’d had nor where I‘d had it. Drove people nuts - I had to stop because of the abuse.

At least you didn't post photos of what you had eaten yesterday

I for one have zero level of subservience to the monarchy but i have nothing against them and would be far happier to support them rather than a President

The Queen, in my opinion, was wonderful for the country and whilst i don't have the same feeling for Charles i wish him well, and much happier to have him as a figurehead than say President Blair !
Yes, I prefer King Charles to say President Johnson or President Truss.
Just did that for balance, you understand, as we can't have political bias on here.

The TfL journey planner ...

Why, when I want to know how long is the journey from Farringdon tube station to Northwood tube station (both on the Metropolitan line), does it show me a route comprising buses and walking?

What are you doing in my neck of the woods!

I just use Google Maps for this, I think it works better. Or failing that you've got CityMapper.

Given that it's a cartoon I'll save it for when my little girl is a bit older. :)
There are a load of Disney, Pixar and the like films that are animated but brilliant. So many are for parents as well as for kids. Learn to embrace them. You will look back on this and go, 'why didn't I watch this (and others) earlier?'

Don't worry, I've watched plenty thanks to my wife, but that one has never been on the agenda for some reason.

Add flushed away to your list if you haven't already seen it . definitely an adult film as well as a kids film .
Madagascar, Flushed Away and Toy Story are excellent. As is Ice Age, and Up.
The sort of films you can watch at any age, and any amount of times.:)
Seen Flushed Away, of course I've seen all the Toy Stories, and Up as well which was fantastic.

Hang on this isn't the films thread. Think we got sidetracked.
