Random Irritations

Radio 2 doing their annual Glastonbury stuff. Apparently it is only a couple of weeks away and they are already getting over excited. Makes me wish we were back with Eurovision!

Greatest Hits radio is your friend. Effectively R2 from a few years ago, without the constant Eurovision, Glastonbury etc hype that makes things unlistenable. We have swapped at work and will not be going back.

I had a software upgrade on my Samsung phone a few weeks ago. Since then the browser has repeatedly crashed. Yesterday I was kicked out of my Samsung account, I don't log in but it is there in the background backing up to the cloud and so on. I'm trying to log in but it needs a 2 step verification with my tablet. Fine, do that but it still doesn't like it and I am stuck in an annoying loop. It clearly needs a patch to repair what the last upgrade did, get on with it.

Nettles ................................................... specifically those wearing a bloody cloak of invisibility!
When did they start doing that?
Both arms feel like they've been wired in to the mains.

I quite literally feel your pain. I once fell, whilst climbing over a fence, into a massive bed of nettles. I was wearing shorts and trainers. Legs, torso, arms and face. Both eyes ended up swollen and fully closed up. I’ve never known pain like it.

Nettles are the worst. I'll suddenly feel the stings again three days later in the shower.

Our poppet Daisy has really sensitive paws to them and will chew the pads if she gets stung so we're always on nettle alert!

 1st of June and it feels like the 1st of bleedin' December......
I thought Summer was coming?
Well it ain't around here.......
Everything seems to be a month or two behind. May felt like April, June doesn't feel like June yet. We're still in that weird phase where it's like 11° in the morning or after the sun goes down in the evening, but 19° in the mid-afternoon. So I leave for work with a jumper and coat on but am roasting in the afternoon.

Our carseat has a mount that stays fixed to the car so you can attach it quickly, and it allows the seat to rotate for easier access. This mount beeps at you when it's not fitted correctly - at least that's how it's supposed to work. The other day it just randomly started beeping while I was driving and would not stop. I took it out, tried refitting it, adjusting it, no matter what I do it just keeps beeping. Eventually I just had to take the battery out. Stupid thing. Hard to describe how annoying it is trying to fix something that beeps at you until you do it.
Make sure the seat belt is plugged into the correct socket.
I know there's 3 seat belt sockets in the back of my car, if if put my battery on the back seat, I need to plug in into the correct one or the beeping starts.

It doesn't use the seatbelt. I spoke to the manufacturer and they said just remove the battery and it'll stop beeping. The unit works fine without it, the battery is only there to power the beeping noise.

Ah , I thought it might be your actual carseat weight sensors setting it off, have you tried plugging in the seat belts in the back seat.
