Surprised to see the German athletes with ‘Germany’ written across their strip.
I can’t imagine the outcry if we had ‘Gross Brittanien’ or ‘Grand Bretagne’ across ours.
At least Turkey has Tűrkiye written on theirs.

Great viewing tonight, what a way to finish the evening.👏👏👏👏

On a lighter note, did any notice the poor camerman chasing Deplantis around the track on his lap of honour?
Poor bloke was hanging out his backside😂😂

My favourite was the usher/marshal trying to get him somewhere (bell, I guess) for a while and then he just gave up.

How young are the ‘women’ skateboarders?
Wasn't that Sky about 13 when she won her first Olympic gold? I'd say they are young.

But, in fairness, skateboarding is for kids :ROFLMAO:

And, by the time they get in their 20's, they are probably struggling to walk after multiple broken bones.

It sounds a bit odd when they refer to the current world champion as ‘the woman’ who did this and ‘the woman’ who has gone for that…..and she is 14 and is older than many of the other competitors.

In the heat with the most experience the oldest was 18.
