Doing a bit of restringing and tuning up and decided to take a photo of my collection. Probably got my first tin whistle over 30 years ago and my most recent purchase was the banjolin. (if you don't count the set of spoons I took from the kitchen cutlery draw :whoo:)

Spend most of my time on my mandolin playing traditional Irish music.

My list includes guitar, mandolin, banjolin, ukulele, D flute, low D whistle, D Bb C Eb F and G whistles, mouth organs in D and C, bodhran and a set of spoons.

All of the above I can play to some degree of mixed ability

Going to stick to the mandolin and banjolin focusing on learning scales and reading music, which up until a week ago I couldn't do any of either. But more on that in another thread.

Anyone else got a monster collection or currently learning how to play something?

I have a Yamaha PSR 970 keyboard I regularly play. I also have a saxophone and an electric guitar that I intended to try and learn to play but never got round to.

My old pal was all england bodhran champ in the 80s iirc, he was on Heartbeat playing it once 😀
I used to be a drummer in a few pub bands but I ended up jacking it in as it was taking up most of my weekends.
Got a guitar or two now to knock out some power chords but that's about it.
Leccy kit hasn't had much use in the last couple of years although I still have my acoustic kits in a lockup.

Ive got a few bits and pieces.

2 Fender Jaguars
1 Fender Jazzmaster
3 Gretsch (Chet Atkins 6122, Tennessean, Electromatic)
1 Rickenbacker 360 12
1 Acoustic Guitar
1 Violin
Yamaha DX7 keyboard ( no amp to plug it into)
2 guitar amps (fender vibro Champ, Vox AC4)

thinking of getting a bass of some sort, Like a Semi Acoustic of some sort, maybe and Eppiphone Revoli or one of the Fender Reissue Coronado/Starcaster/mustang.

Also go my eye on getting Gibson 330 or Eppiphone Casino (Jap 80's)

got some Bongo's as well somewhere;)

Been playing piano and various keyboards/organs since aged 10 and can also play several other instruments but only have the piano now.

Nice collection OP ;)

I've tinkered for many years gathering these along the way:

Like quite a lot of folk up here, I learned to read music and play thanks to the brassband world.
Unfortunately more fold every year. Not fashionable I guess.
I haven't played for a while but I used to be quite a good flugal horn. Not too shabby on the cornet either.
Preferred the flugal horn though, beautiful tone. Good days them.

I know a few ladies that blow a good horn :whistle:

I have a violin which cost me an arm and a leg when I was 17. I haven't played for years and only this week have thought about getting it valued and possibly sold.
