You got into the RNLI open then Gary!

Me and Bob playing as well Is it confirmed that the new holes will be in play? Really hope so as they are both fantastic looking golf holes

My brothers bro-in-law says they will be open. That's as much as I know.

Trilby Tour next Thursday at Preston. :) Not everyone's cup of tea but I can't wait to give it a try to be honest. Clothes have arrived and been altered and a decent mid-morning tee time. Before that a competition at Stand GC in Manchester on Sunday.

Two lovely courses. Plenty of hills so not a case of walking up to ball, find distance, pick club and hit. Keeps you on your game. Enjoy.

With the season now in full swing what have you coming up.

I have my Mercedes 2nd round on Thursday at East Devon golf club one of my favourite courses if I do well its on to Burnham and Berrow in the 3rd round.

Sunday is the 2nd round of the Palariete team comp 5 pairs matchplay Foursomes against Thurlestone at Crediton GC.

Next week is the Ilfracombe GC Open week normally I play all week but this year just the Tuesday and Wednesday where I'm hopeful of getting a handicap cut as I have not played in many qualifiers recently.

Also have my first away Open of the year at East Devon again in a 4bbb a comp we do every year.

What golf is coming your way?

Enjoy Credition, played it many times with my brother who's a member there, indeed saw him get his HIO there

County Seniors game season now and also a week up in Ayr/Dumfries with HiD end of June :)

Is that the short 12th over the bit of a canyon and bunker front right? Nice hole but totally messed it up last time and chunked it into the clag.

No the 12th is a lovely short hole. I'm talking about the 14th. Way up on the hill hitting about 75feet below you to the green. I have a video somewhere of me duffing one off there.

Dunbar GC senior champ tie tonight, off scratch. Qualified for the Dunbar GC Castle club championship match play next week starting on Monday night. Summer pairs tie coming up and I'm also in the next round of the Royal Musselburgh GC club championship play offs. I'll need to shoot about 74 scratch in order to reach the match play knockout stage. I've already played around 12 medal comps this year.

Going away this weekend for a couple of rounds of golf at Hollins Hall as our club is hosting the Lancashire Amateurs so the course is closed, then off to the #MCombination day the next day, so have a pretty exciting week of golf planned this week.

Enjoy, Not played it for a couple of months but it's supposed to be looked very nice at the moment. My clubs just around the corner if you want a moorland knock.

Playing Otley GC next Friday as part of a monthly society group, away at Ramside Hall next Sunday/Monday with 15 mates on our annual golf trip and then Knaresborough the month after.

In the immediate time, big board comp on Sunday, then playing The Shire on Monday.

The longer term bears a lot more fruit with some great golf trips planned!
