With the season now in full swing what have you coming up.

I have my Mercedes 2nd round on Thursday at East Devon golf club one of my favourite courses if I do well its on to Burnham and Berrow in the 3rd round.

Sunday is the 2nd round of the Palariete team comp 5 pairs matchplay Foursomes against Thurlestone at Crediton GC.

Next week is the Ilfracombe GC Open week normally I play all week but this year just the Tuesday and Wednesday where I'm hopeful of getting a handicap cut as I have not played in many qualifiers recently.

Also have my first away Open of the year at East Devon again in a 4bbb a comp we do every year.

What golf is coming your way?

My club's 'course championship' is coming up in a couple weeks. A 36 hole comp where you play Saturday and Sunday. Probably run-of-the-mill stuff for you guys, but as this is my first year of club membership, it's something I haven't done before so I'm looking forward to it! My only reservation is having to play at club times on the Sunday (in reverse leaderboard order) - since I'm not a morning person! I'm going to try and use that as my incentive - the better I play on Saturday the longer lie-in I get on Sunday!

Scottish women's amateur championship at royal Aberdeen next week
East of Scotland inter-county championship at Stirling in 3 weeks

And club championship in between

My swing is still AWOL.... :(

Going away this weekend for a couple of rounds of golf at Hollins Hall as our club is hosting the Lancashire Amateurs so the course is closed, then off to the #MCombination day the next day, so have a pretty exciting week of golf planned this week.

First of two club champs this weekend, 36 holes over two days. Zero chance of best gross but will try as usual for nett (have previous for bottling it on day 2 regardless of day 1 score) still great fun though

Course looking very nice and just have to hope the pins aren’t too brutal

Not as much as I would have liked, to be honest. Was supposed to play a qualifier last Sunday, which was cancelled due to thunderstorms. I was really disappointed about that, because I have been playing rather well the last couple of weeks and would have liked a chance to prove to myself that it's not true that I can only play golf when no one is watching. Now the next qualifier I can attend is on the 11th of June and then one on the 2nd of July. There are a few other comps at our club in between, but they are either invite only, or pair competitons ... one is a husband/wife comp (and I am lacking a husband for that ... unless someone volunteers himself in the next few weeks, which I find highly unlikely ;))

Got the second qualifier for our club championships this weekend. Currently seeded 1st in my division after last Saturdays round. So need to keep that up.

Also have a second round tie for the Hole cup matchplay, due to be played by the 11th of June. And have a lesson next Wednesday as well.

I've got quite a few this year but I'm looking forward to Ganton tomorrow though.

It's a cracker and when we played it in November last year it was in mint condition.

Playing Fulford on Thursday too with a stopover and refuelling session in York Wednesday evening.

Still in the summer matchplay singles and doubles comps with fixtures to play in the coming weeks. Plus the club champs QFs at the beginning of june.

Will hopefully get a couple of qualifiers in too cos I feel I'm overdue a fairly sizeable cut. Knowing me I'll bring my Z game when the opportunity comes though

quarter final of the club champs om Wednesday evening, the the match cup know outs and then the scratch.

Also have the county champs in June along with the Tain club champs

Ballyliffen tomorrow, portrush with the newly opened holes on the 25th.

Yesir.

You got into the RNLI open then Gary!

Me and Bob playing as well👍 Is it confirmed that the new holes will be in play? Really hope so as they are both fantastic looking golf holes

Have only played 2 courses this year, my home course and a round for the club team away at Pyecombe.

This week I am playing 2 rounds at the Belfry and one round somewhere else in the region.

Then Foxhills the week after for a corporate day

Away at Ham Manor for the club team

And then Cooden Beach forum day out.

Nice couple of weeks coming up, not often I play away from my home course.

Big 36-holer this weekend. I'm out at 7.37 both days.

Got a couple of ties coming up in the singles and doubles.

Annual outing with some old school mates which will be a shocking standard but a brilliant laugh.

Family grudge match return in the offing.

And might squeeze in the odd Wednesday medal here and there.

Then it'll be winter 😣
