Losing weight/fitness thread

I done a solid 3 month worth of legs and back stretching routines early last year. i felt amazing then the second kid arrived and it went on the scrap heap, it's soul destroying how quickly it goes back to tightness and aching
Pretty much why I’ve got to do but for me it’s hamstrings, hips and shoulders. They’ve taken a battering with work over the years and I need to stem the tide!

Been doing 10-15 minutes stretching each morning for a couple of weeks and really feeling the benefits. Also just got a standing desk and building up from 10 minutes standing every hour. I can definitely feel the benefits, not as stiff in the evenings and feel like I can work harder in the gym after work. Also, less stiff after a round of golf.
Last night decided to have a change and did a kettlebell workout off the net - really feeling it now!

I really need to start doing this - I'm SO tight in my arms/shoulders since starting swimming.

3 sessions this week, Drill workout, Hills and Magic Mile, all went well despite the weather, extended all 3 sessions to over 5 mile each time.

Today did the Mile in 7:45, not too bad as it was along the Seafront and I was getting hit with an onshore wind which I’m not too sure if it helped or hindered.

As it was a dry day I tried the primark stuff.
@Paperboy shorts were excellent, phone pocket is more on the front of the thigh rather than the side, but it was held firmly and had no issues, zip pocket on rear big enough for a few gels or keys etc and 2 side pockets.
I bought size L shorts, which the lady said was a 36, 38 waist. 2 colours, black or camoflauge, unfortunately they didn’t have black in L so went for these, but for a tenner I’d definitely recommend them and I plan to go back for a 2nd pair.

Jacket was great as well, bought size XL, 2 big pockets on front, hoid with drawstring and a drawstring in the hem, all easy adjustable. As I said it was very windy 16mph gusting to high 20’s and it certainly did its job, all I had on up top was a zerofit running top and the jacket and was very comfortable.

@PaulMdj not quite the same, but my wife bought some of the Primark activewear range and I was impressed with the quality of them. Look good for the price!

I'm a fan of the decathlon stuff as it's usually a good fit and good VFM.

1lb off this week, down to my lowest since last July, haven't been lower than this in probably 30 years, since I was at school.

But, it's my birthday on Sunday and I've got some good meals booked in, because life's boring otherwise. As Graham Taylor said, now this is a test.
