Losing weight/fitness thread

South Lanarkshire Council has an excellent scheme for the over 60's called Active Age.
For £10 a month we
get access to:

• 9 swimming pools
• 16 fitness gyms
• 9 health suites
• Racquet sports *
• Fitness classes
• East Kilbride Ice Rink
• Libraries activities
• Cultural activities
• Golf courses (**terms and conditions apply)

My missus and I have joined and it's a great scheme for keeping fit, meeting people socially and giving us some activity in our retirement.

That’s brilliant, we have a scheme around here, but nowhere near that good.
